  1. SD-5/20/13 SW-230lbs CW-170lbs Haven't lost any weight in a while, I'm at another stall.???? Haven't been drinking enough Water or getting all the Protein I need, because I feel so full or have no appetite....I need to push myself to get the water and protein. Any suggestions?
  2. May 20 Pre op-(1 week before)-230 Day of-223 Current-199/200 Not eating 3 meals/day. Having hard time getting liquids and protein(about 40g/day) but feel good. Slowly losing....
  3. I too had a huge bruise...u may even notice more in the next week or so due to blood thinner they may have given you. Mine are finally starting to go away, I was sleeved 5/20
  4. Nothing for me....except that its a bad choice and blah blah blah

  6. Ok so, I know I shouldn't....but yes I still smoke cigarettes. I could t smoke the first few days after surgery(made me sick), I shouldn't have picked up a cigarette again, because I was doing great without, but I did. My surgery was 5/20, came home 5/21, started smoking again 5/24. Hope this helps :-). I will say (for the nay sayers and the ones who want to lecture...please don't) I have cut way back.

  8. I was sleeved 5/20...this first week was really hard. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who broke down and cried, felt like I made a mistake, etc. I know it will get better and that we can get through this. I just try to keep thinking positive and know that I really wanted this and I will get past this. I'm so glad I found this forum because its nothing but support. Keep posting please
  9. "Mrs_Bulldog0509: when I did the Protein shakes before I switched to the protein shots it took me 1 1/2 hours to get a entire shake down. And my NUT said to drink 1 oz of Water every 15 minutes. That was so hard for me to do because i felt full all the time and couldn't gag down the shakes. You may want to check with your NUT again just to be following their specific plan for you.
  10. Is anyone having any problems drinking? Every time I take a sip of anything I get bad air bubbles? Will this eventually end? I'm not gulping or chugging.
  11. I had a very hard time drinking the protein shakes, soups/broths, etc. and teying to get un my water/fluid for the day. I found these protein vials by Proasis, each vial is 2.9 fl.oz, has 25g protein, and taste really good. They are all natural. I found them at Rite-Aid for about $3.50 a bottle. Kinda expensive, but so worth it! :-)
  12. I was also sleeved Monday 5/20, in Harrisburg, Pa. I was released 5/21. I had a very hard time taking in protein and fluids when I came home. I was actually dehydrated the past 2 days. I cannot use the protein supplements from the doctors because I cannot get them down within a decent time. I found protein vials that are 25g and taste pretty decent. My only advise so far is slow and steady...walk a lot to get the air out, and just relax. :-)
  13. Hello all, I was sleeved 5/20...I was having problems with getting protein and water in until today. Still have some gas pain and cold all the time. Hope everyone is doing good.
