I put it out there! I'm proud of me for standing up for me. I made a choice and think its a great one! I even made it FB official the first day of my liquid diet. I've only mentioned it once. I had 12 people contact me and tell me they too had started the process and were afraid to put it out there. I told my husband, our parents, our siblings, my friends....then FB. Judge away and I will delete them. I no longer have room in my life for unsupportive people. We all deserve better than that! Lucky me no one has said anything negative to me directly or that I've heard about. I don't have room for busy bodies either!

Right now I think I'd be happy with a large and no X's with it! Lol...I'd be perfectly happy with a 14. A 10 is my ultimate goal!!

My BMI IS 33 & my goal is 23.

My surgery date is Monday the 17th and since I barely made the cut, plus the diets, I'm 71 lbs from goal. My goal at 5'10" is 160lbs. first time in my life I remember being a lite weight. Lol

I was just barely enough. But I have been barely enough for 8 years!! Once I was accepted I was told to lose 10lbs or no date with the surgeon. Got my date and he told me to lose as much as I can.

Awesome job ladies! I'm excited to get moving. Right now I'm trying not to bite someone's head off bc of lack of food on this liquid diet.

There has to be some other woman who is as tall as I am with an apple shape. No way am I the only one.

I'm an apple shape and wear a 18w now...I was a tight 22w. Anyone been where I am? Tell me your story! This liquid diet is not getting easier!

My surgeon nor my nutritionist would even suggest a goal weight for me. They asked me my goal and said it was great....I was wondering what's real though??? Starting weight:254lbs Oct 2012 Starting liquid diet:232lbs June 2013 I'm an apple shape. I am 31 years old. I am 5'10". What's a real goal for me. I told the doctors 175....but I'm leaning closer to 160... Thoughts?

I have the same date! I'm excited about all of it except the next two weeks which I have to do the liquid diet. :/

I'm starting my pre-op liquid diet in the morning and I am dreaming out!!! We still haven't heard about what my husbands doing. (He's in Kuwait...should be on his way home) and the closer it gets to tomorrow the more I'm crying!?! I'm a pretty strong person, but I'm a hot mess right now. Like I'm doubting myself, I'm double guessing, I'm moody, I'm crying....and the liquids haven't even started. :/

I'm 31 and I've got a GREAT bunch of friends! So far no one has had any boneheaded comments. I don't care if I get one. I'll be glad to let them go from my FB life. I know lots of folks who don't really know in person 1/2 of their FB friends...well, I have a VERY large family (over 125 first cousins) I have 11 siblings. And I went to boarding school. So most of mine are people I consider family anyway. I told my Husband I made it FBO and he thinks it was a good choice. I mean we put on there about traffic, idiots at Walmart, when our kids do great things....why not put-(this is not how I worded it) I'm getting healthy & hot at the same time bc I decided its time to change physical me-which is going to end up changing (a little at least) inside me.

Keep your fingers crossed I don't have to delete too many 'friends' for saying idiot things! Lol.

My husband needs a site like this but for spouses. Those who didn't have surgery, but need to learn how to live with someone who has. My surgery date is coming quickly and it's for sure he needs a group for support as much as I need you all! Thanks!

Today is my last apt with my Nut before surgery!! I'm a little nervous. This is the 3rd time I've gone through this process and the other 2 I ended up with no surgery. (Once my IUD failed and I got pregnant) the other we ended up moving from CO to DC. So after being here a year, I jumped at the chance to start the process again. I've never got this far before. I have my last pre-op apt on Friday with my surgeon ...June 17th hurry up already!
