Young Sleevers
I enjoy reading everyone's posts on the forum and seeing people's experiences and progress but I'm still a little new here. I am 23 and was sleeved just under a month ago. I wanted to find more people around my age who have also been sleeved or are considering/planning on being sleeved. I'm interested in hearing about your experiences, sharing goals, etc.

Ever been called fat by a kid?
That happened to me too! I was teaching kindergarten and this sweet, sweet girl asked me "Do you like to eat?" I replied with a yes and asked her why. She nonchalantly said, "just wondered." A few seconds later I heard her whisper to one of her classmates, "she's so fat!" It did hurt. Even from a five year old who was otherwise very nice and respectful towards me. I didn't think I had to feel self-conscious in front of kids too!

Mine is Days 1-5 Clear Liquids Days 6-14, Full Liquids Days 15-20 Pureed Day 21 You can begin soft foods (which is what I'm starting today) But my plan says no red meat (beef) for 6 months, no raw veggies/fruits for 8 weeks, and no grains for 12 weeks after surgery.

First milestone!
Thank you everyone! It was definitely exciting to see. And congratulations to everyone else who is making the same progress!

First milestone!
I bought my first smaller size today while shopping! I was able to fit into a size 20 jeans when I used to be a size 24. They're still a little snug, but wearable. And it gives me the chance to wear them for a bit while I continue to lose. I'm almost 3 weeks out, and it's nice to see progress!

3 pounds in one day?
I stepped on the scale this morning and discovered that my weight had gone back up by 3 pounds in one day? I know I shouldn't weigh myself each day, but I get excited when I see the number go down. I'm so confused. I'm 2 weeks post-op. Has this happened to anyone else?

Goal Outfit?
I don't have a specific goal outfit, but I'd love to wear a two piece swim suit. My ultimate goal is just to get to a 10/12, but even lower would be amazing!

Twonderland!
That's so awesome, congratulations! I finally dropped below 300 too, which I was never able to do alone, and I'm NEVER going back.

Potential young sleever -- help deciding what to do? I need advice...
I'm 23 and only a week out, but even with all the frustration that I now know the first few weeks cause, I realize it was an important decision for me to make and don't regret it. I have hypothyroid and PCOS so losing weight on my own was always a losing battle, but already from both the pre-op diet and a week of liquids, I've almost lost 20 pounds, and it's only the beginning. I would've never been able to do that on my own. And I know that having the sleeve will bring so many more benefits to my life, like higher self-confidence, being less shy, a love life, etc. Yes, it's hard right now in the beginning, and all I want to do is eat regular food, but I know that it is such an amazing life tool that I've just given myself.

Non Scale Victories that Im looking forward too
Not having to buy plus size and being limited to shopping at certain stores. Going on dates and having guys interested in me. Being more sociable and less self-conscious. Being able to run/jog without getting so winded. Not being at the mercy of food and eating.

First night home, How to sleep?
I was sleeved on Tuesday and had terrible gas pains my first night at home so I slept on my left side as best as I could. It was the most comfortable and actually I slept fairly well.
