  1. A little confused. So in 3 months you lost 68 lbs? If so, please tell me exactly how you accomplished that, because it's amazing!!!!! I am on my 10 day countdown to surgery. Question: I don't see any scars from the incisions. The pics are a little dark. How do they look? Was very curious about that as well. .
  2. Curious when you started excising? How much did you lose? You look incredible!!!
  3. Hi! I have a couple of questions, if you don't mind? You look amazing? Do you exercise regularly? If so how soon after surgery did you start? I am concerned about skin elasticity. Did you do any stretching, like yoga or Pilates? You look incredible. Congrats!!!! How many lbs off?
  4. I feel the same way. I have a 10 month old. Please let me know when you are strong enough and confident enough to hold your daughter, as I realllllly curious.
  5. Thank you for the quick response.
  6. Curious if they figured this out? I have been following you through all your post because of your weight loss pics and I wanted to hear more of your story. My op will be 1/27 super excited!!!!!
  7. Amazing! You look wonderful and so happy too. Could you tell me your before and after weights and how long it took you to get there? Your experience? I go in for surgery on the 28th of January; so excited !!!!!
  8. Thank you so much!!!! I am excited!!!! I just hope I have as good an experience as you! Congrats on your weightloss!!!! Awesome!!!!
  9. How do the pain meds make you feel besides taking the pain away? Do you feel any nausea from them? Do they feel ok going down?
  10. Hope you are feeling a little better by the time you read this. Would love to know more about how you feel as the days progress. I am curious about your recovery because I have 2 children at home and I want to know how quickly you start to feel yourself again. I know everyone is different so I have been asking around to get a general consensus.
  11. Curious how you are doing? I remember being impressed by your weight loss and pics when I first signed on here. You said you were a slow loser but 30 something lbs in 2 months is awesome. Where are you at now; if you don't mind my asking? I am finally scheduled for jan 27 and very curious about people's experiences.
  12. My doctor asks for a low-carb pre-surgical diet but told me that it is optional for me since I am on the lower end of BMI (36). I am following a low-carb diet pre-surgically anyway before my Jan 14 surgical date. It will improve my blood sugar and be good for my liver. I agree though - so many people are talking about strict regimens that I feel a bit weird about it. My nutritionist and doctor say no pre-op diet as well. Yes, I agree it feels strange so I am def going to watch it the week before surgery. (Scheduled for Jan 27th)
  13. Anyone else having surgery at White Plains Hospital in NY?
  14. January 27th here!!! Woot woot!!!!
  15. Jan 27!!!! Yay! So excited!!!
  16. After a long road with my pre-approvals, I am now scheduled for January 27th? Any others around my state?
  17. Finally got my date! January 27th. Totally freaking out. So nervous, but excited!!!!
  18. Totally feeling the same way. I have 2 kids and I am feeling the weight of my actions on my shoulders. The are submitting everything to insurance tomorrow and I should be getting an October surgery date. So anxiety ridden.
