Which protein shakes do you use? I am looking to start with one.

Just ordering Protein shakes now. My NUT gave me a huge list of them, but obviously not by taste. The highest in protein are: Natures best Isopure zero carb Vitamin shop 100% soy protein Syntrax Matrix Bariatric Advantage unjury Any comments on which tastes best?

Feel the same way! I also have a large purple bruise by one of the incisions. Yuck!

Are itching and tinges of pain to main incision site 10 days out normal? I am thinning itching means healing? Happen to everyone else?

FYI I saw a great recipe the other day for faux pizza portobello mushroom with tomato said and mozzarella on top also if you can take a thin fajita type wrap you can put tomato sauce on that and mozz it becomes really soft. thank you again!!!!

How much weight have you lost in 4 mo just curious?

How long did it take you to get to goal weight? You look amazing! Hope to have the same results. 4 days since surgery.

Yummm guacamole and salsa! Great! I just wanted an idea if I have to go to some sort of get together or dinner outing. Great ideas and thanks for the info. Do sauces make a difference when you are cooking? Like tomato sauce? Soy, Etc acidity etc ..... Love fish all types of ways and I want to get creative. My NUT actually scared me with the burger meat so iam glad to hear some can tolerate it.

I was sleeved on 1/27 and I am down 9 lbs. can't get the liquids in or enough protein. Maybe 16-20oz of water/tea/ ice pop/ hint water. Last 3 days I was ok with chicken stock and veggie stock but it's not happening now. Ugggh can't move to soft foods until 2/10.

I had a drain in for 3 days and I drained for the full 3 days. It has nothing to do with a leak test it prevents infection. If you saw how much drained you would say you would def want one. When I had my csection with my 2nd child I leaked from my incision, got an infection and had to take antibiotics. It's not fun.

1) What do you do if you feel like something you ate got stuck? I have not eaten real food yet, but I would like to know so that I don't panic if by chance it happens. 2) when will I be able to go out to a restaurant and just feel free to pick at apps with friends as opposed to sitting down to a meal? Like tapas or other? 3) how do spicy foods sit with the sleeve? When is it ok to eat? I am not there yet, just curious.

I was sleeved the 27th as well. Go back to liquids you are not ready yet. I am on clears for 2 wks until 2/10 and then I have a full soft food meal plan for 2 wks then on to reg foods. Message me and we'll talk I have a whole list of foods etc portion sizes etc. Don't use a straw. The gas ex is not going to work for this your are bringing in too much air with the food so quickly.

Home day 2 from surgery. Pain, no meds because of nausea. Had drain and lidocaine wires taken out. Can't get liquids in, only maybe 30oz. 5 lbs down atleast. Bad headache prob from not being hydrated enough and freezing cold laying under 2 blankets but no fever. Any words of wisdom? Is anyone admitting to not getting in fluids and all being well? Lol very tired.

I just had surgery this past morning. Everyone is so amazing here, but I had debilitating gas problems as many people encounter and they are giving me 2 different types of anti-nausea drugs for relief because I constantly feel nauseous. I got up and walked around immediately after I was taken to my room. Was horrible but I think I am through the worst of it.

My surgery is tomorrow. I have so much nervous energy. I think I have done 6-10 loads of laundry. I stopped counting at 5. I have made lists for both kids for everything under the sun about their daily activities for my husband and mother in law. I still can't wrap my head around surgery being tomorrow morning. Can't wait to get healthy!!!!! No preop diet, but I am going to take it easy tonight. I have to be at the hospital by 5:45-6am. Omg!!!!! So much nervous energy I don't know what to do with myself. I am going to start cleaning when everyone wakes up. I think It might be all the snow we got lastnight, as well. Sorry I am rambling.

I have my mother in law for 3 days, my husband for a full week home from work and then I am going to spend the 2nd week at my moms house with the kids. I definitely will have help putting him on my lap. I just feel mommy guilt. Yes I going to try and walk as soon as possible after surgery. It helped me during my 2 csections as well. Thanks for the info!

Surgery on Monday and I am feeling so much anxiety about making sure everything is taken care of for my little ones. I don't think I can let go and trust all will be fine until I walk through the doors of the hospital and take care of ME! Lol. Wow! I can't believe I just said take care of ME. Lol. I am excited and nervous !!!!!

I have surgery on Monday the 27th and I have a 10 month old as well. How many days did it take for you to heal enough to pick your little one up safely? Very curious. Thx.

You are an inspiration!!!! I want to follow in your foot steps! I can't wait. Ooooh, more questions. I have little ones too. How long did it take you to be back in business with them? I don't know how old yours are, but one of mine is 10 months and I am wondering how long it would take me to pick him up? Or just how long you waited to exercise? Or felt yourself again? You look awesome! Thanks for the quick response!
