  5. That would be a big change not a bing change. :-)
  6. I think the articles we see in magazines and things we see on TV skew our expectations. I think much of the size game depends on how you are built and how your body loses weight. In magazines and in tv they show people that lose 100 pounds and go from a size 24 to a size 4. Unless there has been a bing change in clothing size in the last twenty-something years I know that when I lose 100 pounds I will go from size 20/22 to a size 12/14. I lose weight from the top of my head down. The positive side to that is when I look in the mirror at my face I see a big difference the down side is that because my face is thinning out so fast I think that my butt must be really shrinking too and I try clothes on the bottom half of my body and get my feelings hurt. A lot of it is knowing your body.
  7. During my 10 day full liquid period before surgery I was craving pickle juice. I drained a jar before surgery. I have wanted it a few times since surgery but not so much after i got out of the liquid stage where everything was SO sweet. Just want to add I am the only person in my house that eats pickles!
  8. I had a few twinges during the three month qualifying stage but I also had my first real jitters about the surgery right before I started the two week liquid diet. I guess that is what made it real for me. I too think what you are experiencing is normal and to be expected. For me personally my faith is what calmed me and got me through. The only "trouble" I had was recovering from the anesthesia. I threw up in recovery because of it and wanted to be left alone to sleep instead of going to radiology to drink the gross stuff and have them take a picture of my stomach. I was a little sore the next day kind of like I had done sit-ups. The best advice I have for you is to make sure you keep a positive attitude. Expect to have a good outcome, expect to do well. Will be praying for you!
  9. Are there any Northwest Florida sleevers besides me?
  10. I grew up with two brothers that have farted on me my whole life. My younger brother has been known to literally trap people to make them smell his farts. My only sadness in my journey so far is that I have not been able to fog him up with my super special protein farts. My husband has literally run from the room when I have farted. I have enjoyed it way more than a grown woman ever should!
  11. Can't wait to make these. Two more weeks!
  12. I get puréed food tomorrow and plan to have cheese grits and an egg first thing!
  13. I have been craving tomatoes too! I have always liked them but it has almost become an obsession! Got some Campbell's Sweet Basil Tomato Bisque soup to soothe the craving.
  14. So glad to hear this is going on with others. I am not sleeping either. Feel good though. ????
  15. I have bought 3 dresses for my future self. Two of the 3 can be worn for a long time because they are maxi dresses. The other one I bought was $14.00 on clearance so I thought it was worth a shot. I have a skirt and 2 pairs of shorts from LL Bean that I have never been able to wear and I try them on every 5 to 10 pounds to see if they fit. I bought them in the size of all my other pants but apparently 20 means something else to LL Bean. Being pear shaped, pants have always been a pain to me. Lucky for me I love dresses. I need low cut jeans because i am so short waisted but the hips and booty always make me a flasher in the back. Dresses are much more forgiving!
  16. I only had mine (drain) for a week. I believe I would have had to be dragged out of there if the Dr said it couldn't come out!
  17. One week today. I have felt great especially since I got my drain out this afternoon. I am having an opposite issue, I am having trouble sleeping. I have been taking a dose of pain med at night to try and help me sleep (not taking it for pain). I think someone changed my settings on my CPAP at the hospital and think that may be some of my trouble. I slept to 4:30 am and that was the latest I have slept. Driving me crazy because I know on Monday when I have to get up to go to work I won't be that awake!
