  7. Still holding at 220. Grrrrrrr
  8. Why does every single thread have to turn into a lecture? And now I remember why I didnt get on this website for 3 months.
  9. We are human and that is what I like about this thread is it shows everyone, pre op or post op, that we all make mistakes and no one is perfect!!! The sleeve is not a magical cure and we will still mess up from time to time. But people want to come on here & start preaching, when that wasnt the point of this. I can laugh about the piece of cake I ate and not feel bad about it. I dont eat cake every day, every week or even every month. It happens. Just because we are sleeved doesnt mean we arent human and doesnt mean that we can't have something unhealthy once in a while!
  10. Urgh just when I thought I found a funny, non-judgemental thread on here.....
  11. LOL This has been my favorite thread to read. I guess I have been pretty good, but have done some bad things as well. Drank 3 bottles of wine in one night & got so drunk that I ate 2 pieces of cake Ate a donut from Krispy Kreme (I dont even like donuts) Smoked some "green" and ate 3 crunchy tacos from Taco Bell (munchies haha) I do occasionally eat chips & salsa, but my limit is 6 chips.
  12. You look amazing!!!!! Such an inspiration!
  13. I am almost 5 months post op and my nutritionist said I must eat no less than 1000 calories a day and no more than 1300 calories per day. There have been days I only get between 700-800 calories and that is when I do not lose.

  17. You will be able to eat all (or most) of the same things you did before. You can eat wherever you want. It is up TO YOU to make the right choices.
  18. THIS IS CONSIDERED SLOW?????? I would think you are right on target, or even a fast loser!!! And this is another reason I hate going on these boards where people who have lost 70 pounds "vent" about slow weight loss!!!!!!!! Really?????? HW 278 SW 269 CW 220 Sleeved May 21st Where are the REAL SLOW LOSERS???
  19. My thing is.... Why do you have to tell anyone anything? I am shocked at the audacity of people these days. Since when is "I have some health issues that need to be taken care of" not good enough? We shouldn't feel like we HAVE to tell anyone ANYTHING or feel like we have to make up a story because we don't want people to know the truth. I personally am ashamed that I let my weight get so out of control that I needed to resort to weight loss surgery. I didn't want anyone to know what I was doing. If people are so rude to keep asking or make you feel like you have to lie about what you are doing, call them out on it!! This is a very personal decision and is no one's business. Tell them you need to have a medical procedure and you aren't comfortable sharing any more information! Your boss doesn't even need to know more than that! That is why there are HIPPA laws, to protect us. I hate that I felt this way when I decided to have surgery & it makes me upset to hear of other people going through the same thing. Screw anyone that doesn't respect your privacy!! You are not obligated to tell anyone!!!
  20. For the most part I do not drink while I eat and I try to wait at least 45 minutes after I eat. However, I love spicy food and every once in while I have had to take a drink while eating. Havent had any problems. Good luck!
