  1. I paid about $50 in doctor appointment co pays. My insurance covered everything else 100%. They billed my insurance company 48,000 but the insurance company only paid out about 7,000.
  2. My Doctor does a leak test while you're still under. So no swallow test post op for me.
  3. I too have a great insurance plan. From my first visit until the time I got sleeved was only a little over a month. I am 2 weeks post op now. Good luck, I hope everything goes smoothly.
  4. Good luck. Just try not to think about what they're going to be doing while you're under. Think about what comes after. Helped a lot. Sleeves May 6 th.
  5. I wore a set of Capri pajamas with a really loose waistband. I just felt more comfy in my own clothes. Maybe take something just incase.
  6. My doc said 1 week. Not because I would be unable to drive, but because if there was an accident and your steering wheel and air bag hit your stomach it could cause serious damage to your surgery.
  7. I am 10 days out and feel almost completely normal. The first 3 days were the worst for me and it wasn't really pain, it was the anesthesia. Just make me feel sick.
  8. I am 1 1/2 weeks out and I had the same. Very white tongue and my first thought was thrush. By my one week post op appointment it was gone.
