  2. Hi, was hoping someone may know of a product or home remedy to help fade the appearance of stretch marks that really works. They are old so I know they are harder to fade. I am open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance ????

  10. When I made my first appointment to see the surgeon about WLS I had the lapband in mind. He suggested the sleeve because of my age(33) and said it was a better choice for a long term solution, but what made me decide the sleeve was he told me 25% of bands were are being removed due to complication and other reason and 25% was too large of a number for me.
  11. After every appointment my doc schedules my next appointment before I leave. Even if its 3 months away. Makes it so much easier than remembering to call at a later date.
  12. South Jersey here. Had my surgery May 6th with Dr. Patel in Atlantic City.
  13. I agree with everyone else to ask your surgeon. I'm almost 3mos po and my surgeon didn't give me restrictions on drinking. I have a couple of drinks on the weekend and I feel fine, no stomach aches. But everyone is different and every surgeon's restrictions are different.
  14. DISGUSTING!!!
  15. I am 6 weeks post op also and am having the same problem and its not head hunger my stomach gets that annoying empty growling feeling an hour after I eat. It's driving me crazy.
  16. The best I can describe it is just an annoying ache. The kind where if you passed gas it would feel better. I took 2 chewable gas x not much help.
  17. For the last few days I have been having nagging stomach aches. If I sit or lay down they go away but as soon as start moving around they come back. I've tried gas x , doesn't help. I don't eat sweets. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm getting annoyed at this point. Oh I'm about 7 weeks out.
  18. I was only on clear liquids 2 days post op as per doctors orders. Then I was on liquids for 7 days. Everyone's doc is different.
  19. Soda was my drink of choice before surgery. That's pretty much all I drank. I miss it too. I have taken one very small sip just enough to get a taste. That satisfied me and I really didn't like it anymore.
  20. I'm 1 month out and had a few bites of baked beans today without any issues.
  21. I was also sleeved may 6th and started having the same problem this past week. I started taking an acid reducer and I feel so much better.
  22. I was sleeved May 6th and feel hungry a lot. It's like an empty growling stomach. I'm going to talk to my doc because I think it may be acid and not so much hunger.
  23. How far out are you? I'm 4 weeks out and am having trouble with water all of a sudden. It recently started making me feel nauseous when it never did before so I'm really worried because I'm not even coming close to 64oz.
