  3. Does anyone else have this? I was only having it sometimes, but now all the time! I'm wondering if its a gas problem!! As soon as I drink anything it goes down fine, then I get a sharp pain in my lower chest, then a gurgle/ burp and it feels better!

  6. They have been great on the full liquid phase! I'm a vegetarian so I had veggie and bean curd soup and today I had seafood soup! The seafood soups is wonderful! It's a clear broth, but full of veggies and seafood! I think I'm going to purée the seafood and put it back in since I can handle cream soups just fine! Great protein I'm sure!! Oh it even has egg whites!
  7. Isn't it so weird that once we put something IN the water it goes down easier? Haha
  8. I'm 10 days out and still have a area in my stomach that hurts! It has gotten much better and I am finally able to get up and down and wipe myself! Haha just hang in there! I made the mistake of thinking because it was laparoscopic it would be easy! Remember we did have most of our stomach removed!!!!!
  9. Why do some things go down so well and others cause so much pain! I seem to tolerate warm liquids better! Water causes me the most pain! Weird huh?
  10. When I get up and try to get a shower or anything for that matter I get sweaty and lightheaded! Any thoughts? I'm 8 days post op! Low blood sugar maybe?
  11. I think maybe I'm not walking enough! I am going to push myself a little harder with the walking! It may make all the difference.
  12. I am a week and a day post op! I was really hoping to be up and at em by now, but I still have such pain in the main surgery area that I still can't even wipe myself(sorry TMI) if I get up and move around it does ease up and I think I'm on the mend, but it never seems to get any better! I'm supposed to go back to work on Friday(my choice, I am a nail tech) but I don't think I'm going to be able to do it! Did anyone else have this searing pain and any tips in how to get rid if it? Thanks so much!
  13. I'm going to do just that tomorrow!!!! I can't sleep, it's hard to get up and down! Ridiculous! Oh and did you notice that there is much more food commercials in them usual these days? Haha
  14. Lucky on the pain meds!! They only gave me 30 pills and they were 2 every 4 hours! That only gets me about 3 days, but I did stretch it! I'm out now and still sore as hell! Oh well this too shall pass!
