  6. I love omelets and I was really wanting one this morning so I decided to do a lil experiment. I sautéed onions, yellow and green peppers , and mushroom in olive oil then I took the mixture and put it in my blender with one egg and a splash of milk. After everything was broken down nicely I cooked the egg mixture in light olive oil then topped with white cheddar cheese. It was delicious

  9. Thanks everyone, that's all very helpful. I suppose I will do the right thing and check with the doctor before I change my post op diet plan. It's just kinda embarrassing already asking for shortcuts. I almost feel like if I can't handle these first few stages how am I gonna act the rest of my life ?!
  10. Did your nutritionist advise you to stay on it for two weeks or three? Mine advised me 3 but it's already killing me! Every post about the stages and the articles I read all say 2 weeks full liquid so I'm seriously contemplating cutting mine down to 2....?? Idk tho I'm torn because I also feel like I need to do what the doctors say!
  11. @ramirelek how long are you on the full liquid stage?
  12. Thank you for the advice. And you're right, theres no use fretting over the inevitable! I should just be thankful I was given this life changing opportunity and accept the good and the bad that come along with it!! good luck to you all
  13. I am scared to death to loose my hair. I recently had my surgery on May 8th 2013, so I haven't experienced any hair loss yet. Does anyone have any tips/suggestions on how to maintain minimal hair-loss?? I've seen YouTube videos and read posts about loosing hair after the surgery. My hair is thin enough as it is, I would hate to loose more!
  14. I had my surgery May 8th also and I am right there with ya on the feelings of hunger . I was on a clear liquid diet for two days and now I'm on the full liquid diet and it's really difficult . I never realized how much a loved food and how much i thought about it through out the day. I've had strong urges to just chew something up and spit it out :s but fortunately I haven't done that! Sometimes I even dream about food!!
