  2. MIJourney.. Great for you!!!! I do my follow up on tomorrow as well, but could not wait to see what kind of progress I made... I was super excited.. Yes, I have been eating mashed potatoes and any soft foods I know will go down.. Although I don't stuff myself with them, it is unfortunate that the starchy foods go down the best.. I have sampled lots of foods in this trial and error period.. but believe me.. when something almost hurt going down.. I am done with it.. Good luck with your appt tomorrow... Wish you lots of success!!!

  8. Dr Ricardo Bonnor did mine!!! I love him and he is very HOT!!!!
  9. OK all done with surgery ... YAY!!! Just sore and lots of discomfort... can't wait until I get past this stage..
  10. No drain for me... unless it was done while I was still out!
  11. Still super excited but the first stage had been challenging for me!! Lots of soreness!! And bloating!! Although... knock on wood I have not vomited.... and for the minimal nausea I feel.. I pop in a sugarfree ice breaker..which seems to work. I have had hot and sour soup (broth only)from a local Asian take out and I held that down also.... very slow sips seems to work...

  16. After many years of being overweight I finally decided to start taking the necessary steps required by my insurance to pay for it. I found my surgeon because one of the requirements from the insurance was the surgery had to be perfomed at a Bariatric Center of Excellence.. Once I met with him and the staff I knew I made the right decision.. I did my initial visit in February 2013 and now have a scheduled surgery date of May 14, 2013.. I am super excited and ready for my new life..
