My biggest weight was 285. I decided to get the Lap band in 2010. I had hypertension and needed a change. I lost weight since the surgery but it was very slow. On my birthday this year March 31st I found out that I was diabetic. I was put on pill medication and did my research. I made the final choice to get the sleeve. I had my surgery April 30th and here I am 6 days later.
