  1. I'm not scared of the surgery itself. Is or has anyone else been worried about losing weight in the places you don't want to? I've always had a heavy posterior. I want to lose it but not toooo much
  2. I'm waiting on my approval and date. If all goes well I'm looking at middle of June. When do the Dr. have you to start pro op diet?
  3. Congrats. I'll be following your posts. I'm hoping to be sleeved by middle of June
  4. I know in the seminar the doctor said the sooner you're released the faster you'll heal. But he never said if he keep you at least one night. I'm putting all my ducks.in a row. I'm hoping they'll be calling with a date for the first week of June
  5. I didn't think to ask was the surgery outpatient. Did anyone go home the same day?
  6. Hi Patty. I'm right along with you. My insurance company only required my bmi at 40 and one psyche visit. My psyche visit is May 16. If all goes well I'll be sleeved by mid June. I hope we can stay in contact with each other. Good luck
  7. I've been trying to lose weight for years now. I've joined gyms, weight watchers and done all kinds of fad diets. My job is very physical and my weight is to much for my knees. When I lose, I gain right back. I'm 40 so I know my metabolism is slower. I started doing my research and went to a seminar referred by my cousin. I wanted the lap band at first but after the seminar I decided the sleeve. That was on March 16. The following week I met with the Dr. My bmi was only at 39. With my insurance it requires 40 without commodities. With one visit to the Psychiatrist. That's it. So I went back on April 29. Got a call on April 30 to go see a psychiatrist and once they get word from them they'll submit to my insurance. The insurance biller also said Anthem BCBS is the easiest and that I'll be approved and probably sleeved by mid June.
  8. I'm happy to hear that. I have my appointment with the Psychiatrist on May 16 than the Dr office will submit to insurance. I'm nervous already but your post makes me feel better.
