Weird burning pain 9 months out...
Oh and I'm curious.... is the back pain up between your shoulder blades or a few inches below that, right in the middle?

If it's not that then they'll have to run more tests but I'm sure your doc will go over that with you. The HIDA scan is temporarily (minute or two) painful and makes you feel like you're going to vomit IF there is an ejection problem. So you'll know that if it becomes painful with severe nausea after they inject some medicine in your IV then you have a gallbladder issue. Just wait for the test to finish and your doc to get the results and go over them with you.

Tharms...lol!- Weird burning pain 9 months out...
You need a HIDA scan to check the function of your gallbladder. You don't have to have stones to have problems. If your gallbladder isn't ejecting efficiently then you'll have symptoms the same as stones without having the abnormal labs, abnormal sono and such. Good luck!- Feeling Sad
I have not started my pre-op diet yet but I thought I'd be supportive and tell you that it's not uncommon for the body to hold onto extra pounds for a few days because it's in shock about the change in your diet. You may end up losing a bunch all at one time once your body realizes you're not going to starve it! Good luck and I hope your surgery goes well!- 3 months post-op pics
Lol....I love that you were frowning in the first one and smiling in the second one! I will have to remember to do that too! Lol Congrats on your loss!- Roller Coaster question!
Ice is a great idea! Texas in the summer feels like the devil opened up hell and let all the heat out! Lol....- Roller Coaster question!
I'm in Texas.... I'm real worried about getting in enough Water at Six Flags. I usually drink tons because it's so hot here. At six weeks can you drink a bunch?- Roller Coaster question!

YAY!!!!!!!!!- Roller Coaster question!
I have a question for all you post-op people! I love, love, LOVE roller coasters! I'm wondering if after surgery I'll have nausea on the rides that "tickle" my tummy, or what it's going to feel like when you go down the steepest drop that usually makes my stomach "drop"? There is nothing better than throwing your arms up and letting gravity pull your butt off the seat on the big drops! I'd be so sad if rides felt different! Have any of you post-op people been on roller coasters since your surgery?- i am such a hypocrite!
Can I just say as a pre-op person I feel like a hypocrite because I get on here while I'm eating! I did the same thing when I quit smoking... I increased my smoking while I stayed on a quit smoking website. It's like I transition one addiction onto another! I'm taking the advice of another person on this site tho.... I'm about to start dieting pre-op (after my b-day on Tuesday)! Until then I will feel like a hypocrite while I'm eating when I'm surfing on here. As for the OP.... try to change your irritation into sadness for their addiction. I will always be a food addict just like I will always be a smoker- I'll just be a food addict that chooses not to indulge....lol...and that also chooses not to smoke! Lol- july 2013 sleevers

Hey! I'm July 16th in Dallas Tx! I'm having it done at Doctors Hospital. I start my pre-op liquid diet a week before and I have to do clear liquid a week after, then cream soups for a week, then soft foods for 2 weeks. Glad to have another July 16th person on here! ~Madeline- Completely Addicted!
Well I guess it's better to be addicted to this site than candy crush saga (my former addiction) or food.... my lifetime addiction!- Completely Addicted!

I expect I'll stick around too... this is such a great place for support! I love to hear from those of you that have had your surgery.- Completely Addicted!
Am I the only person completely addicted to this site?!?!? I check it constantly and it seems to be getting worse- the closer I am to surgery the more I'm addicted!!!!- July 2013 sleevers
Lol.... that cracked me up!- Feel like a failure :(
I know how you feel! I expect I'll cry when I end my love affair with sugary sodas. I know they can make my sleeve a failure so I'm saying goodbye to them forever before I get sleeved. It makes me sad and disgusted with myself at the same time. :-P- Looking for a buddy with a July date too!
I'm having surgery July 16th in Dallas. I'm 5'1" and 185. I just want to have someone to talk to as we go through this change in our lives! - July 2013 sleevers
