June 5th for now..... Had a snag in the road so one more test.... Ref my heart.... Prayers are much appreciated!!!

I've been experimenting with different Protein shakes.....I just tried: Scoop of vanilla EAS whey protein power 8 oz Silk light vanilla soy milk A pinch of MIO orange/tangerine Water Enhancer Put it in my Nutribullet And OMG it's super duper YUMMY!! Like drinking a Dreamsicle milk shake!

I'm JUNE 5th....super excited and sooooooo ready!!

I'm in miami.....my date is June 5th!

Chest X-ray, EKG, labs DONE! Primary doctor signed off....one more test and done! Meet with bariatric team on the 29th, cardiologist on the 31st.....once he signs off...it's 'OPERATION ' time!! Yeah me!

Brandnew- I hear ya....I had to do it twice...once without the cpap and one with...the one with the cpap was as if I was punched in the nose for eight hours straight. Both I swear I didn't sleep but the tech said I did...I just think I faked it well.... Stick to it, u can do it....is for one night!

All went fine...still the 5th....upper GI thurs! Thanks for asking!

Hey Rebecca.... I'm with you. Completely confused on getting proteins in the clear liquid stage. Still don't what to expect afterwards?

Shannontfrancis- just had them both done yesterday as long as ur insurance company approves it....I had the chemical endured stress test - easy breezy! Fiore13 -I wish they'd push mine up I'm doing chest X-ray and EKG tomorrow my upper GI next Thursday then no more tests. GO LUCK BOTH OF U!

Just did the stress test and echo today...onto .chest X-ray and labs fri....endoscopy next week.... Fiore13 I love dr Jacobs and his staff they are so Nice!

Reading about all you MAY SLEEVERS is getting me excited for my JUNE 5th surgery.....praying for everyone and wishing the best of luck and No Complications!! HAPPY SURGERY/HAPPY HEALING!!

Stress test tomorrow - chest X-ray and echo fri.... Uf all goes well... JUNE 5 th!!! Can't wait!

I'm in miami.... Started researching in dec last year... Started the process in January just had my cardiologist appointment today stress test tomorrow.... And surgery date June 5!!! I'm having it done at Jackson south with Dr. Moses Jacob's.... And can't wait I'm so excited and ready for this! It's jumping through a lot of hoops to get to the end result but I'm sure from what I read on this site it is so worth it! Love reading everyone's story!!

I've only told two friends and my sister in law....though I know I'll get support from many friends if I say something - just feel this is a spiritual journey for me. And in time ill tell those that I know will be supportive and besides don't want to jinx anything....lol

Hi all I'm scheduled JUNE 5th....totally excited!! Still have to a cardiologist, do the chest X-ray, EKG and upper GI but its all scheduled for the next two weeks!! I'm ready!!

Well it's official .....my surgery is June 5.....had some problems today as I saw the surgeon - apparently his staff screwed up- they told me not to schedule my surgery til I saw him today and I ended up wasting two weeks...so now I'm scrambling to do the upper GI, chest X-ray and see a cardiologist....the next several weeks are gonna be spent running from doctor to doctor...needless to say I'm excited, nervous and frustrated! He told me only to try to loose 10lbs and stop taking aspirin and aspirin products a week before the surgery....no restrictions on a pre op diet! Just nothing after midnight the day before my surgery!! But all in all I'm ready!! Go ME!!

Pammycakes- reading up on everything it says it causes bleeding in the stomach....and most all the paperwork I've seen says avoid taking NSAIDS which include exedrine products. I suffer from a headache everyday and I want to start decreasing my NSAIDS intake and get prepared - for post op headaches ( hoping they never come- but just in case) But I'd rather have something I can take handy, rather then suffer to the point I'm throwing up after surgery. Thanks everyone I see the doctor this Thursday or my pre-op....and will talking to him about it!!

My doctor has it listed in the food to eat after surgery...I haven't heard of it either, but thought d ask!! Thanks! I guess when I see him next week -I ask him!

Kickboxing and running marathons again!! Can't wait! I'm sooooo excited!
