Sassy i took 2 weeks off from my desk job. But to be honest a week and i would of been fine at my desk. I had the option of working at home the third week but i went in Monday and worked tue-thur at home and back in friday. More than anything it was feeling just extra tired when i went back to work. No potti problems.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Im so happy for you!!!!!!!!!!! I have about 11 flights planned this year between Oct and April and i am pushing for no extension! I even have my own but i dont want to have to sneak it on!! That must of felt SOOOOOOOOO good to hear it click in. I always stick with isle. Although my all time fav is the little Mid West connects that have 2 and 1 seating. I ALWAYS make sure i get the side with just one seat. I am really going to love it when i dont have to do all the airplane worrying.

Now for all those poor people in pre op diet hell i have an encouraging story for you. Had my first fill and now i have restriction that yesterday i east a THIRD of a Lean Cuisine meal and i was stuffed like i had just had thanksgiving dinner!!! It really is sooooooo worth it! This is the weirdiset thing...I go to bed feeling full last night and i have eaten maybe 700 calories that day. I am so used to feeling so very hungry when im losing weight that i actually had this guilty feeling i had overeaten all day as i was not starving when i went to bed. It took my a little while to work out why i felt so guilty. The body changes and it takes my brain a while to catch up. If your are Pre op or havnt got your fill right yet, have hope! when its it the right adjustment it ROCKS!

Banded Bikers II
Cindi-- that sucks. Bat Wings on your motorcycle. I pretty much always wear some kind of jacket, mesh or leather. But then again im a safety crazy guy. I cant stand riding with out my full face helmet now, the wind in my ears i just hate it. Yesterday a bee hit me smack in the middle of my visor, BANG:omg: it made a noise at 50mph. ITs getting down to 65f avg here now and sometimes below 60 at 4.20am (when i leave).

August Bandsters How are you Doing So Far
Had my first fill yesterday...2cc in my VG band. Then i actualy had a little trouble getting water down after so i must have a good restriction already. Didnt eat. This morning i made my usual 1/2cup egg beaters for breakie at work and i could only eat half of it and i feel like i just had thanksgiving dinner... I know it will ease off over the next couple of days but it sure is nice for now.

September 07 Exercise!!!!
areelady- Thanks so much for the encouragement! You keep it up too! Your doing awesome! Week 4 looks like its gona hurt for a while but you keep going ya hear me! :whoo: Dibaby----AWESOME!!! Love those sore abs!!! You keep on keeping on! jmcambra-- i took your advice and started doing a little weights today, arm, chest, shoulders. Used a lower weight and did 25-30 reps, 3 sets per area with about a 20 second rest between. Took 30mins as i wanted to break in slow, i used to lift weights alot in my teens, early 20's and i know the first few times you got to break in slow. Then i swam for 45 mins and o boy was that weird. My arms felt so light i dont think i could go in a straight line.

August Bandsters How are you Doing So Far
Well im off for my first fill today. Weight loss going well, the excercise is my breaking point. If i dont exercise i dont lose, that simple. Another thing i think has helped me, i promised myself i would eat 3 meals a day and no snacking in between. Even if the meals were a little bigger it would be better than snacking...that really helps.

Is your wife banded ??
Yes. Both me and my wife are banded. she was banded about 2 months before me. It helped me to see what she went through at the hospital before i had it done. It has definately improved our lifes (and our love lifes). I have no fill right now so no restriction. We have not got to the point of sharing meals but we have stated sharing sides. I feel like im being cheap sharing a meal in a resturant, id rather get a meal and just eat half and take something home for dinner.
