  1. you will be fine! In a few days you will feel just some annoying slight soreness.
  2. Yesterday my first day home..I had a 16oz bottle of water, 4oz of protein shake and 2oz of broth..I tried to start a little earlier today! Guess since surgery on Monday you shouldn't expect the moon!

  5. true that I used that button.did want to have bad pain so I pressed the button! Surgeon convinced me too!
  6. mine was today the morning after..unfortunately they didn't use a better tasting something! Like a flavor! You didn't miss a thing!
  7. The swallow test this morning my me sick to my stomach! Now on clear liquids, going to stage two for dinner..and then I will,be able to go home!
  8. Hi everybody! Not maybe complaints beyond gas and drain site! I've been allowed ice chips..and it has been a blessing! Using dilaudid when necessary. Gas is a pain..I have been belching but not from the right end! :-). Day one complete..may we all recover well!

  10. Monday is the day...I have to be there at 5:40 AM. Not nervous yet..been too busy!! And this forum has been muoy informative!
  11. Pre op complete..all set for Monday! Down 45lbs since April..which I'm still wow over! I'm looking for the other side and it's within reach...know what mean! We got this!
  12. Tomorrow is pre-op lab work and surgical visit! October 21 is the day..so busy trying to get work and home together...I've got very little space to get nervous..though I feel I may be exhausted on surgery date!
  13. Also..I have been taking fiber supplement as well to make sure I go! Tmi for sure! ????
  14. Hi. I have not had that prob. I've been on pre-op since Monday. I have two protein shakes and one high lean protein meal and veggies meal and one fruit. No issues down below. Wonder if that has something to do with fiber intake...sounds familiar from a dr oz episode I saw not long ago...
  15. ditto! Excited and getting over a cold! Can we say I don't want any roadblocks!! Yes I'm so ready and yet if I go to pre-op sick I will be frustrated! So staying warm! And the liquid diet is easy and a big help with this cold!
  16. Today was my last day (I hope) of requesting a seatbelt extension for a flight!!! No more travel until next year... And by then my Oct 21 surgery date starts to see the health improve and the waist go down!!!
  17. I have to share...I'm waiting on a flight i have for a quick business trip...plane for a few hours. I normally pay for the extra legroom and especially hip room! I have this wonder in my mind...will I need the same space (legroom maybe) on my next business trip next year!?!? My sleeve story starts now..and surgery on the Oct21... It's definitely some of the small things that continue to inspire me!!!
