I understand completely...I had surgery atv730a and they released me from the hospital at 130p....it hurts me to take a deep breath feels like I was hit in the ribs....but my main issue is getting in the fluids....

How's your breathing....deep breaths hurt me

Sydney Susan I really don't know which way is right or wrong. I do know my surgeon has been doing these for 15 years. Every Surgeon is different. I was worried at first but then I realized my surgeon was at my finger tips. Everytime I called him he answered immeadiately...I have never had a dr care and give so much attention.

Ohhhh annd my Anesthesiologist was hot hot hot...damnnn

im back from having surgery on May 3...omg surgery was the easy part,,,I feel like I've been kicked in the ribs and it's hard to take real deep breaths,,,my throat hurts,,,it's hell getting up and down from the bed toilet and in and out of the car, I pee constantly...I can barely drink 4oz of water..a protein drink...and a jello in one day....I'm glad I did it but I'm ready to feel better I just had it yesterday at 730a and I was home at 130p...I know it'll get better in time just wanted to share with you all...btw I was only nauseated yesterday ...this is my story:)

I havent had my surgery yet but Im scheduled as an outpatient which means up to 23 hours.

Im with you....I love to drink socially.... Sometimes my friends like to get together for a few cocktails after work....I love going to wine fests....My DR advises against drinking because of the empty calories and the effect on the liver. The liver needs to adjust to the new sleeve and all the disruption so he says wait at least 6 months....

OMG!! I know exactally how you feel....My surgery is May 3 and I have even had awful dreams. My son told me I hope your surgeon knows what hes doing because your my only parent....geeez!! My anxiety is through the roof all I think of is the surgery....Im soooooo ready and excited but damn Im scared!! Also I read about preop diets and hospital stays. My Dr is doing my surgery outpatient and I only have to fast after midnight the day of surgery.

Hi Tammy Im getting my surgery on May 3rd. Im so excited and nervous. Ive been having a little anxiety and I think its because of the unknown. I have fears of the surgery but I also fear being overweight and what the complications will be if I dont have surgery. Theres so much advice on this site. I love reading everyones experiences. I have a question because my Surgeons Preop diet is midnight before my surgery Im positive he wouldnt risk my liver

Thats my Birthday...but my new sleeved Birthday will begin on May 3

My Dr said nothing to eat or drink after midnight before the surgery but didnt put me on a preop diet.

My date is May3rd....Im so excited but anxious as well!!
