  3. I can honestly say I have been there. I hate knowing that you and others have gone thru this you can contact me if you want. I haven't found many on this board that have had issues But hang in there I'm at almost eight no out still dealing with abscess but my outlook changed I realized the good things and that I'm alive what you went thru was horrible. It will get better there is light at the end of tunnel and you will be glad you had surgery although I find myself telling others think twice etc Hang on count each day as a blessing

  5. Im craving sweets. I'm about eight months out and I want sweets tried in moderation ended up overindulging and found out my sleeves love them and no slimies any suggestions as to substitutes for sweets
  6. Wow I had feeding tube different reasons for four months its not bad uncomfortable but the good thing you will lose weight fast

Offered bliss ins for complications it was like 1500 I regretted not getting I spent 3 no in hospital two add surgeries and feeding tube wound vac for four months over 600,000 in Med bills ins wasn't going to pay finally they did but with lots of hassles wish I would of bought the ins so ask about iy

  9. Sometimes people cant take the changes. I dont think we change we may look at food differently. My dr office said that it is common that couples split during and after the weight loss. Im so sorry your having to go thru this. Dont regret the surgery i know you feel healthier and things will work out. I have alot of faith and i believe everything happens for a reason.

  11. I am still struglling from surgery in october. And i have surgery friday on abcess and fistula. Has anyone had trouble with either after surgery. Ive had many complications but this is the latest.

  16. I think its strange before surgery water was my goto drink. I have to force myself to drink.
  17. I gave mine up after 100 lbs lost feel great and not tired. I didnt have sleep study to see just went by how i feel.
  18. Depends on how bad the leak is. For mine they tried surgery to restaple or suture. But it couldnt be done. So i had. To wait for nature to heal it so i was on feeding tube for four months. So i losf weight quickly which was good right. But i started week one liquids when i was four mo past surgery. I wouldnt worry about a leak. If it happens its fixable. Just think of the health benefits from losing weight.
  19. Yes it was the staple line so the liquid i had been drinking leaked out the stomach causing buildup in the abdamen causing the incision to drain the fluid
  20. I had soreness more than normal at the incesion spot i also noticed additional swelling then one day i started draining out the incision thats how it happenned
  21. I had three leaks. They do happen but i do not regret the surgery it took me four months for them to heal. But i am so happy with my weight loss over 100lbs since oct 30. Dont let the what ifs scare yoy. Think. Of the final outcome, healthy,skinny,sexy and plain feel better. Im off all meds well worth it
  22. My husband loves chinese food. So when we ordered i asked if they did any meals steamed. Yes they do. Steamed chicken and vegs of course it will last for three meals but was yummy and hubby got his chinese and i had a pretty healthy meal. So i guess it never hurts to ask. Does anyone have any tips or had success at asking for meals altered.

    Before surgery i loved spicy foods. If i eat anything spicy i get the slimies pressure in my chest . Does anyone have this problem. What do use for flavor on foods.
  24. Dr did mention complications he down played them. I never thought I might habe complications. Doing much better
  25. I wish I would of known that complications can be very serious, and what to look for to know. I had major complications twelve weeks in hospital almost lost my job due to excess time off from work was out 4months. Wish I would of known about all the throwing up. I love my sleeve just wanting to comment on what I wish I would of known.
