Hello Everyone!!

After a great deal of research in a very short amount of time, I decided that I wanted to have the gastric sleeve operation on April 8, 2013.

On April 9, 2013 I was able to get an appointment with my doctor at Kaiser and she referred me to the Health Education Options Program.

Sometime between then and tonight, the Bariatric Department decided I was a go to be able to go to the Options Information Session.

Today is April 23, 2013. At tonights meeting I was told that if I was there, I had a go ahead for surgery provided that I did my part. I am

very excited because my BMI is below 40 and I thought I might have a fight ahead of me. I had God lead the way and He got me there just

fine!! My first Options Class starts on May 1, 2013. The Options Program is 12 weeks and it is to prepare me to have surgery emotionally,

as well as, physically. My daughter is 19 and she just got her referral today. She went with me to the informational session and it looks as

if we will be doing this together. We are BOTH very excited!!
