  1. Hollyr, Your subject was "Hubby Doesn't Like Me Now". Well the truth is, and please forgive the harshness of what I must say, he didn't like you before either. He couldn't have liked you, or loved you, because he wouldn't do things to hurt you if he did. This is abuse...verbal and emotional abuse...and he is an abuser. He has abused your heart and your mind. If you had esteem issues he has only added to them. You don't deserve to be mistreated regardless of what you look like or what weight you are. When God created each one of us he created something beautiful. Find the beautiful within yourself. Learn to see yourself the way God sees you. Learn to love yourself the way God loves you. You have great value and a wonderful testimony. You were spared death because you still have a purpose. Don't allow him or anyone else to keep you from your purpose and from being the best you that you can be. Just say WOW! Meaning, (w)ith (o)r (w)ithout him you can and will achieve your life's purpose.
  2. I was also sleeved on 2/28/13. My highest weight is truly unknown to me but I'm sure it was in the 250s. My highest recorded weight was 247. SW 226. CW 196. Comparatively I seem to be a slow loser but I sure do feel better and my blood glucose levels are excellent without the use of any meds.
  3. I took a Prilosec and it seems to be helping. I'm still having a hard time drinking enough water. The Premier protein shakes go down well enough but water is difficult for some reason, and so is Isopure.
  4. Thank you. I'll try taking a Prilosec. I never would have thought of that.
  5. Has anyone had a day where they can't seem to get full? My stomach has felt empty all day today. I was sleeved on 2/28/13, and this feeling is totally new and foreign in my post surgery life. I tried eating more protein (chicken) and even a protein bar, but I still feel empty. Usually I can't even finish a protein bar at once, but today I had no problem. Although my throat feels like I would get the slimes if I ate anything else, my tummy still feels empty. What is going on?
  6. I'm not far from LAX. Where did you have your surgery done?
  7. I was told to walk as much as possible. The Dr said that I could start jogging at 2 weeks and I could lift as long as I didn't lift anything over 25lbs for the first 4 weeks. I had to pick up my 45lb grandson before the 4 weeks was up and fortunately nothing bad happened. Other than that I stuck to what my Dr said to do.
  8. The last time I went there I got the Crab & Avocado Stack appetizer. I just didn't eat the chips.
  9. I'm in Los Angeles. I had my surgery on 2/28 at Kaiser WLA.
  10. Sleeved on 2/28. HW 250ish SW 226 (day of surgery) CW 210 Height 5'6.5" I feel like I'm losing very slowly, especially to be only 36 days out. Is anyone else having this issue?
