I went to The Beth Israel WLS. Daniel Jones did my surgery but they are all good. They usually go ahead and take out your gallbladder and they will repair any type of hernia situation that they find once they get in there. Mi went for my first visit on March 11 and had my surgery April 22nd (Monday). I feel good. Also The Beth Israel nurses after my surgery were fantastic!! Good Luck!
I've read that getting the Protein in is so important because it keeps your energy up. GNC brand has 35mg each. I mix the vanilla with the chocolate and strawberry to cut the taste a little. So, I get 2 down and I feel good with that.
Question...
Does anyone feel colder than usual??
Hi! You won't be able to take them in a pill form. You will need to get chewable or dissolvable. I don't think you want to crush your vitamins. They will taste really bad... Yuck! I'm 5 days out and am doing really well! Goos luck!
So soothing on my stomach! 5 days out and it's been a life-saver! I'm still moving slow, but no nausea, no real pain and not real uncomfortable. But, I will be extremely glad when I can eat real food! Hang in there! This too will pass...
Now I'm panicking. My surgery is in the morning. I have to be there at 6:00. But, I had no prep to do. I just can't eat after 12:00. I've been drinking protein shakes for a week, but no clear liquids or bowel prep. What if there is food in my stomach? Yuck?? Any suggestions for the night before? Good luck to all of my fellow April Sleevers!! I'll post a "Post-Op" message!
I have a new job and have a short amount of time I can be off and I won't get paid. I a have a desk job. How quickly can you go back to work?? BTW, you guys are great!!
