  1. You did great!!! I saw the big plate before I noticed the smaller one. I have been looking at going to Red Lobster too. We just went to a seafood place close to where we live. They had steamed tilapia and it was delicious. Took a lot home with me and had it the next day. Keep up the good work. I'm 15 weeks out and still have trouble with what I can eat.
  2. You look wonderful ! Keep up the good work.

  5. Hi, I had my VS on April 4, 2013 and I can now say "I love my sleeve!" Every day is wonderful and then again not. Right now it’s a day by day process. I'm still trying to find out what works for me as far as scheduling my meals and snacks. I have found, if I drink something in the AM before I eat breakfast. It throws everything out of whack. I eat breakfast and have my protein drink later in the morning. I'm still not eating that much but I do get my protein in, fluids intake daily and my vitamins. This is the most important thing to do for me. I have not really started to exercise. It's on my list of things to do tomorrow. I have lost 60 lbs This surgery is the best thing I could have done. My mother is 86 and I hope I will be around at least that long.  Carole

  14. Hey there skinnyginny, I really liked your post. It made me get my head out of the clouds and laugh. You are so right! I haven't had my sleeve yet, just two more days but you covered a lot of things I do now. I can't wait for taco seasoning. The night before I was to start my liquid diet my husband asked me where I wanted to go for my last meal and I named a Mexican food restaurant we hadn't been to in years but I know they had fried stuffed chili peppers with cheese. As I sat there eating I looked up at my husband and said "This food is awful!" and he agreed, got a togo box and brought it home. Good luck to you on your journey and look forward to your posts.

  16. I am sixty three and having VS surgery on APRIL 4th. I'm still having trouble with feeling nauseated after my protein drinks and have to have jello or cream of wheat after drinking one. I need any advice please. Starting to freak out a little.
  17. I'm scheduled to have my VS on THIS Thursday April 4th. and I'm so ready! I'm finally over the hunger stage. My protein drinks are still making be a little nauseated but the jello and cream of oatmeal are helping. Not into the cream soups. I have only lost 15 lbs and hopefully by Thursday I will be down 20 lbs before the surgery. I'm staring to freak out a little and I am so glad I decided to do this. My husband and I are going to buy a treadmill today and can't wait to get it home I'm a 63 year old female and finally got great insurance when I retired last May that covers the VS. Are there any women out there who are about my age?
  18. I am so happy for you! My VS is in six days and I'm ok with that but just hungy . Looking forward to more posts and keep up the good work!
