Any October Dates?:)
So I have my surgery date for the 6th October 2014, sososo excited! Yet strangely nervous. I'm kind of in the "food funeral" stage at the moment, feel sort of guilty. So I have 2 months to slap myself into gear. Anyone else with an October date?

"When I finally lose the weight I am excited to...."
Probably being able to walk into a shop and not worry about if they do my size or not and also going to the movies/cinema and not having the pain in my hips/thighs from where the seats are too small! (In the UK they're too small for me) That's definitely my main challenge at the moment haha.

back pain
That's crazy how if can affect certain areas, I understand that after the sleeve that it's very common but wasn't sure about pre-op. My back pain disappeared shortly after and this may sound completely irrelevant but I've now been having shooting pains in my shoulder and I've seen that can happen? I don't want to ask the doctor as he may look at me as if I'm foolish haha. Sorry for delayed replies, I've only recently received the notification x

Just an update, so happy.

Just an update, so happy.
So my VSG pre-op is on the 22nd and it couldn't come sooner. My weight is decreasing, I turned 20 on the weekend and I got engaged on the 26th June on the London eye, was perfect. Hopefully this is my year, just the operation to go. ????????

Got my pre op date :D
Hello, thank you for the replies. I shortly after received a hospital letter saying that I will get an operation date on the pre-op day, So I'm assuming that's the last appointment before the operation?

Got my pre op date :D
So this morning I received a letter from my hospital with a date for my pre-op/assessment. 22nd July! Feels like forever away but after waiting this long, I'm more than willing to wait a month more! Just a few questions, 1, what do they do? Do they Go over the operation and diet? I have no idea and 2, do they give you an operation date on that date? I'm well aware every hospital/surgeon are different, I'm just so excited, I need to know as much as I can haha. Thank you in advance, Bobbie X

back pain
Hello, oh that's crazy, I'll be sure to remember that for the future. My doctor doesn't think it is anything other than the pressure of my weight, which is frustrating. Thank you, hope you're well.

YAY FINALLY!
So after years of fighting and numerous tests, I've finally been accepted for the gastric sleeve. I've literally never been so happy in my life. Should find out my pre-op date next week, finally on my way to a healthy lifestyle.

back pain
The pain seemed to calm down and then suddenly dissapeared. May get it tested out still incase it decided to come back. I wasn't sure gallbladder could affect the back? Thank you for your response.

back pain
So I'm currently pre-op, I've so far lost 8lbs in the past month. This week I woke with a back pain which wasn't too concerning but I was woken this morning at 4am in terrible pain. It feels like my back is somehow locking and then I get major shooting pains. I just wondered if anyone else has has the same thing? I put it down to my weight but everyone around me is advising I get it checked. If not, does any one know of any thing that could help? Probably a long shot but thought I'd try. I'm currently 19 at 311lbs.

Help?!
I'm so sorry, I just don't think sometimes aha
-
Help?!
Thank you for your replies, they really made me think. I actually lost a pound but kept weighing myself everyday, which made me feel worse. I'm now doing more excersize and experimenting more with new, healthier foods and I'll be weighing myself every week instead of everyday haha, thank you ladies

Help?!
So my Surgeon wants to do the sleeve on me withing 3-4 months (so shocked, literally can't believe it) but before he wants me to keep my weight maintained... Howwww?! I've cut out junk food, coffee, added (30 minutes a day) exercise and gained a pound... should I do more? I literally need all the help I could get.
