Need help!!! First day on soft foods.... Can I eat bananas? And can we drink coffee? Decaf?

How long has it been since surgery??? Im 10days post op & Doc just cleared me for soft foods

Having issues trying to figure out how to make my Vitamins. Surgeon advices I only take my B12, B1, and my multi-vitamin. My b12 dissolves in my mouth , but I tried to crush n dissolve the other 2 OMG.... DISGUSTING!!!!!!! I don't want to spend the money n buy chewables but not sure how long until I can swallow. Any tips??!? Full liquid Please any tips on what y'all drink while on full liquid??? Thanks SOOO much!!!

I was given a million & 1 instructions from my doc. But I guess in my morphine daze either I didn't hear or just didnt ask when can I get to the good stuff?? I'm 7days post-op. I think my stomach is still swollen. Not trying to rush, plz advice!

Today I am 7days post op . Problem is I'm still only able to take only one tablespoon every 5mins (half of a medicine cup). When will this chg?? Also after about 3-4 sips I am DONE, and feel full for about 1-2hrs. Please, please, please let me know if this is normal!

All I want to do is sleep. I keep throwing up the pain medication. N when I try to drink it hurts. Don't know what to do.

I CANNOT believe I'm finally so close to my sleeve. I met my surgeon yesterday. I've heard great things about him. And thank God he met my expectations awesome doc. Starting to get nervous of what to expect. I was planning on eating all these foods "for the last time" luckily my surgeon advices me on it. Surprised on how many ppl try to cheat before surgery lol.

Wow. Your post definitely has me feeling a certain way. I am finally meeting with my surgeon this coming Monday. And this is something I haven't thought about. My mind has been completely stuck on how wonderful I'm finally going to look in clothes and how much fun shopping will be. Your post has brought me down to earth. Thank u so much for being so honest. I go to kaiser in Carson, Ca. I didn't know that after class your chart is still sent for approval. How does that work?

I'm new to this forum, and have found so much info. Everyone I have talked to seems to genuinely want to help. I really hope that this isn't what I have to look forward to.

So I've just completed class 8 out of 12. I'm glad I found this forum. I'm scared not sure what to look forward to, but the end result I hope will outweigh it all. I'm hoping for some insight and advise. I'm hearing about stalls and plateau at 3 wks out which I thought didn't really happen until a couple months out. Is this common? Anyway I'm 30, married with 2 little boys. Started the program at 272, and I'm 265. Kaiser expects 10% weight loss while in Options Class. I would LOVE to hear from you all Ps I'm terrified about loose skin after weight loss... Can we see pics on here? Thanks guys!
