  3. Yeah Im totally not getting an IUD put in thats why I wanted advice about the pill after surgery. Regardless I would still use two forms of protection (condoms/the pill) but Im just concerned about the gaining weight with the pill still idk what to do. I feel as if I should get off the pill and try it and see how my body reacts to it and be Extremely careful Im just not sure... hope someone see's this who's been there done that!
  4. Hey everyone!! Just wanted to make a forum seeing if anyone wanted to be "sleeve buddies" and keep in touch through out our journeys! I have just one more NUT apt. and then I can schedule my sleeve surgery date..aiming for June SO EXCITED!!!! If you wanna follow me or vise versa and be accountability partners feel free to add me! 5. Lmao girl I hear ya!!! I use to wear heels allllllllll the time when I was thinner ..now that Im "thick" I tell my boyfriend the reason I dont wear heels is because its winter and I dont do heels in the winter due to snow/ice and me being very accident prone. FALSE. I feel like a walrus balancing on tooth picks lmao cant wait to rock them again gracefully instead of fearing Im gonna break the heel in half ahahahahaha
  6. So I went to my doctors yesterday and got on the subject of birth control. I originally started taking birth control because I have PCOS and thought it would control my symptoms and horrible headaches. Turns out it hasnt fixed my headaches and according to my doctor birth control is probably what is making my headaches WORSE. (JOY)..Im debating on after getting my surgery if I should go off of my birth control ( Ive been on it for over 2 years) Maybe it'll be good for my body? Im just worried about possibly gaining weight from the pill after being off of it for 2 months and getting back on ,. Also I never had a regular period until I went on BC cause Im over weight, but I wonder if my body will equal itself out from me losing weight gradually with the sleeve...then I worry about becoming extremely "fertile" (OH MY LANTA!!) That would be horrible haha...Is there any ladies out there who decided to stop taking the pill after the sleeve and had good results or vise versa?! Thanks gals
  7. Wow thank you ladies for all your input on my forum post and Im happy ( well not happy lol) that Im not the ONLY one going through this. I went to my doctors yesterday to get my release papers and a clearance for surgery and he wont give me them untill I get an MRI....Im nervous. I told him all my horrible headaches are from having PCOS but hes still making me go get one just incase...Just hope nothing serious delays me from getting cleared for the sleeve...but I guess its better to be safe than sorry...UHG cant wait to get sleeved and get this PCOS under control its complicating my life to the max * angry face*

  12. My biggest fears about this surgery is that 1. I will lose hair 2. I will not be able to drink milk anymore and I LOVE MILK ITS ALL I DRINK AND WATER 3.That I will have problems pooping afterwards uhg. Those are what Im super nervous about and I think Im going to struggle not drinking with my meals Ive always drank more than eat during a meal so thats gonna take some getting use to . But I guess after I train my brain everything will become second nature to me but I know the first few months will be a huge challenge but SO worth it
  13. I know right I worry about thaT too!! I heard of horror stories where it did and it can be life threatening yikes, just have to baby your stomach the best you can and constantly listen to your body and be aware of any red flags that your body is giving you over it esp. with your family history. More than likely youll be fine my love =) but it is a scary thought for sure!

  18. So just wanted to share with all you lovely ladies (and gents) my excitement! Im engaged as of tonight! My boyfriend promised me he would propose before my surgery and he did it tonight when I got home from class in the cutest way. Im so blessed and happy AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! LIFE IS GREAT!!!
  19. @libbyb .... The pill does help some what. I got on the pill because of my pcos I would have my period twice a month or not even at all and i had HORRRRIBLE headaches like 10/10 now being on the pill they are like 9/10 lol so it only helps a minimal amount for me but all girls are different and react to the pill in different ways. I tried depo shot at first and it was horrible it made me gain weight and have my period/spotting im not even joking for over 3 months straight!!!! its made my periods less heavy and on schedule for once in my life lol but it still made me gain a little bit of weight at first not too much and it didnt help with cysts rupturing or anything uhg but im hopeful this surgery will!!
  20. Does the biotin help with hair? I heard a lot of people lose hair I'm terrified cause I have super log hair and if I lose it I will be devastated !!
