I'm Dee and I have been struggling with my weight for my entire life. I lose, I gain, I gain some more. I decided I needed to do something permanent. I'm 37 years old and I have high blood pressure, joint aches and pains and I snore like a freight train. I had no energy to keep up with my toddler or my teenagers. I had this surgery because I want to enjoy my family and my life. I will be two weeks post op tomorrow and I am really struggling with heartburn. I feel like my liquids just bubble right back up into my esophagus. Water is the worst. It is very uncomfortable. I am supposed to start puréed tomorrow but am very nervous because of trouble I am having with the liquids. Other than that I'm very satisfied with my rate of weight loss at this point.
