  1. Went for my 1 month post op appointment- which is my first appointment since my surgery on March 5. I've lost 23 pounds and I feel better than I have in years and this is the best thing I have EVER done for myself and my family. My doctor said that I am doing great! I am just so excited and blessed- I love my sleeve and I love my life! On the flip side.....I have to go back to work tomorrow- I have loved being home for a month! Thanks for all the advice, support, and ideas that this site has available!
  2. my doc allowed grits, refried beans, and cheese- this is what i have lived on. cheesy grits, and refried beans with plain yogurt and low fat cheddar cheese(sorta like pintos and cheese from taco bell)
  3. I completely understand, my surgery was March 5-just 10 days ago and I have lost 12 pounds. I am very happy about that number. What is freaking me out is that I lost all of it in the first 5 days- the scale hasn't moved in 5 days. I am getting all my fluid, protein, walking in and am eating less than 600 calories every day. How can the scale NOT move? I am scared that the sleeve is not going to work for me. I am afraid I went through all of this and I am still going to be fat
