Ok, an update on my journey. Today I met with surgeon, psyche, and dietician. I am on a pre-op diet for 4 weeks and then should be able to schedule my surgery date. YIPPEE!

Thanks everyone for your input. I must say, I think you are right about keeping my job. it is a great job, and would be hard to replace. Sooo now I will just hope to win the lotto.

I have a job where I sit most of the time. As I am embarking on this journey I am contemplating a new career where I can be more active. The downside is starting over in a new career at age forty. Thoughts?

I often describe my feet as "Fred flintstone feet". Any success stories around new happier feet?

the customer service from uc weight loss has been terrible. I am switching to Dr. Curry. Did my online video last night and am filling out my paperwork today.

I researched area doctors and I have a friend who used him for lap band.
