OMG...you look amazing!!!

I haven't post anything since my surgey on April 10, 2013. I was sleeved with Dr. Aceves in Mexicali. Amazing doctor and great experience. Let say these past few weeks have been the hardest. Still not able to get in my protein or water. Started puréed yesterday, went well. I have lost 20 lbs since surgey date. I weighed 187 lbs the day of surgery also 5'2" tall. I am happy but also miserable. I just hope it gets better. I have days when I regret I had surgery. My husband very very supportive but it's soo hard when you have no energy. Tell me it will get better.

It actually cleared up...thinking it has to do with the pollen out here in NC it's horrible. Thanks everyone!!!

Wow I can't have puréed foods 10 days from froday. So jealous lol. Yeah I will call them I tried the pudding went down great and I was craving chocolate so it hit the spot. Thanks

I got sleeved a week ago today. Is it ok if I start having sf pudding and milk? My doc said said clear liquids for 10 days then full liquids for the next few days. This is soo hard with the clear liquids...ughh

I had surgery (will type my whole experience later) Wednesday April 10th and got home April 13th. Yesterday morning I had hives all over my chest and parts of my back. I emailed Gaby at dr aceves office today to ask about it and dr campos said it might be from the surgical tape. I was thinking why did I breakout like 3 day slater? Anyone experience this problem?

I am here in the hospital all hooked up and ready to go. Wish me luck!!!!

I am going through dr aceves on April 10th. He also does financing and from what a few people said that its not based in your credit it's in house financing.

I wish he was in TJ but he is in Mexicali. The surgery is April 10th and will be in the hospital until April 13th. Will leave that day.

Oh on thanks. I didn't do the financing part because I saved up alot and the hubby helped me with the rest.

No nothing went wrong...Lori at occ is great but after more research I saw that dr aceves is more experienced in. The sleeve than Dr Ortiz. Don't get me wrong but dr Ortiz seems like an amazing doctor just that my guy feeling told me to go with dr aceves. Hope that makes sense.

I am getting sleeved April 10th with dr aceves in Mexicali. Anyone else doing around this time?

Pookeyism-same thing with me. I felt like every time I had a question I was bothering them and my gut said to go with another doctor. I have heard many amazing things about Dr. Aceves and his team. Nina is amazing.

Today I decided that I am now going with Dr. Aceves in Mexicali. I am still having my surgery on April 10th. I knew he cost more but I felt more comfortable with him. Can't wait soo excited and also thanks to Amanda Rae for all the insight.
