1. Sooooo tomorrow I'm 4 weeks out. I feel great! For the most part. I've lost 47lbs including my pre op and I love the gym and water now. The first week or 2 was hell. But, the past two weeks I've gotten my energy back, my incisions have healed, I felt like me again.. No pain.. Just great. But the last two days, my stomach just hurts. Like my actual stomach, not my stomach region. It's like it's really sore. I get it, I just had major surgery... But it wasn't hurting at all last week. Just a little concerned. Of course I'm jumping to, "oh God, it's infected" or "there's food stuck in my staple line".. Just looking for some advice. Thanks
2. I was watching that all day. My Mom went to school there last semester, but transferred to kw.. Glad you are ok!
3. Thanks guys! I can't tell it really til I do a comparison pic. Lol
4. I'm only 3 weeks post op.. And the first two weeks were hard.. But I'm finally feeling and seeing it! Learning to eat all over again is hard.. But I'm trying to tell myself in 6 short months, I'll be telling new sleevers "it gets better". Here's a pic!
5. Oh, I'm sure he can find something. Just not sure how he'll feel about me showing everyone else what it looks like. Lol
6. I regret not taking a before with clothes on. That, eventually, I can show on fb or to my family or whatever.
7. Thank you! start of my pre op diet I was 305. Day of surgery I was 292 (also day of first pic).. Today I'm 265! I'm 5'4.
8. Thank you! Um.. Lacy number?? Maybe after I've lost all my weight.. And ask my husband. Lol
9. I seem to like you' date=' so I think I'll listen to what you have to say idk if other people can tell.. But I sure can!
10. I have a comparison pic. I'm only 3 weeks out, but I've dropped 40lbs since pre op. My question is.. My pre op picture, I'm in a bra and undies. Is that acceptable? Kind of embarrassing.. But I'm so exited about my loss!
11. Today makes 2 weeks post op. I don't even wanna give my excuse for not taking my vitamins, because it's sooooo weak. I simply just forget. And my protein shakes are just sooooo hard to drink now. They're thick, and nasty, and I wanna puke just thinking about them. They were the only ones pre op I was able to tolerate the taste tho.
12. Sooooo.. I'm worried I'm killing myself. I get about 40oz of water a day.. And probably 10g of protein. I can't drink my shakes anymore, which sucks cause they used to be tasty. Also, I haven't taken a vitamin in probably 4 or 5 days. Wth am I doing?! But... I joined the gym! Yay!
13. I think alot of it is stress. I started my pre op and quit smoking on the same day. Now, when I'm stressed.. What can I do? I can't smoke. I can't eat my feelings. Not saying these are necessarily bad things, but I'm sooooo overwhelmed. And I just feel lost. I feel like I'm resenting the surgery. I want to be healthy, and of course want to be shinny and dress cute and be able to play with my girls.. But 3 years from now.. I'm gonna want some birthday cake on my husbands birthday.. Or a soda.. Or whatever. Idk.. Just depressed.
14. My surgery was March 18. I'm less that 2 weeks out. I've lost 35lbs since starting my 2 week pre op.
15. Sooooo.. I know this journey was very long, emotional, and time consuming for ALOT of you. But.. For me.. It wasn't. My insurance was fairly easy to get approved.. Did all my requirements pretty fast, then had the surgery. I'm thinking I jumped in to this WAY to fast. Is this just the infamous regretful stage post OP? Or have I made a huge mistake? Oh well.. Can't go back I guess. Just starting to get depressed.
16. Blah. I'm in the regretting stage. Not even really cause of my sleeve.. I just still don't feel good, and my husband doesn't get that I had major surgery a week ago. We have twins, and I'm taking care of them, and him, and me. Oh.. And I REALLY want some Easter candy. (no one freak out.. I'm not gonna do it). I just wish I had more help. Oh.. I'm down 35lbs since pre op diet, 23 since surgery!
17. I've been to the grocery store! I had to take pain meds when I got back tho. That was 2 days ago. I'm not getting enough liquids either...enough to keep me out of the hospital.. But not what I'm supposed to be getting.
18. That's awesome! What was your sw/height?
