  1. I don't think it would be wrong. That's what it is there for! If you need it, get it! Congrats!
  2. Sounds like you are doing great! Congrats!
  3. 6 weeks. Painless for me.
  4. Thanks ladies! Vines you look great! I didn't even pay attention last night! :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny
  5. Yep! Sounds like you are on a plateau. I have heard exactly what Lianna explained from one of my docs in the past. Your body is shrinking! It is catching up with the weight you have lost. I embrace my plateaus! By the way, Congrats on the weight loss! You are definately a rabbit!!
  6. **Slap** Just kidding! I think what you are doing is normal newbie stuff. The band takes some getting used too. & it takes a while to figure out that the band is your friend. It's a tool to use how you will. Most of the time I respect it & play along like a good bandster, but occasionally I'll slip. I do have to say though, with all of my bandster sisters that have been eroding, I have been treating my band a lot better lately. & in turn, it's doing it's job. I have lost 7lbs. so far this week! Of course I just have 3 more to lose to get me back to where I was before I gained 10 lbs. over the holidays. Any weight loss after that will be harder. Yep, you had weight loss surgery. But you still have to do all the work (well, most of the work). Were here for ya! Hang in there!
  7. YAY!! Congrats & welcome to Band Land!
  8. I wouldn't think so. You should just about be back to normal by then. But you better call when they're open just to make sure. Have fun! & Congrats on your new band!
  9. Betty, I saw your before & after pics! Wow! Awesome job! You have done so well! I'm proud for you!
  10. My little sister shopped around & she settled on a photographer for $600. He was good. When she was shopping the best photographer in town was around $2000. He gave you all the proofs, a leather album & a picture package of your choice. She also talked to different places that ranged anywhere between the 2 prices I gave. Her main specification was that they were able to airbrush the pics. Good luck! & Congrats! When is the big day? Where are you registered? Hmmmmm........ Gifts maybe?
  11. 1/2 hour for me too!
  12. I think one of the major signs & symptoms of slippage is nausea & vomiting. She probably wouldn't check for slippage, if she normally doesn't use fluoro, unless you had some signs & symptoms. As to the fill amount, It's different for everyone. 0.1 cc may feel the same as 1.0 cc to two different people. I would ask to stay for a little while & drink some water. If you can't feel any difference, then ask for a little more fill. She may do it. She may not. Sometime's peoples fills don't kick in for sometime later. I had my last fill months ago. I had restriction, but I didn't think it was enough & then wham! 2 months ago it just seemed to kick in. & I didn't have any restriction until I got up to 2.5 ccin a 4 cc band. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, do what you feel comfortable with. There are no rules written in stone where fills are concerned. Good luck!!
  13. Yep! Been there! Alex gave some really great advice. Thanks for sharing your trials & tribulations.
  14. http://lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=10657&highlight=left+side+pain Here's another one. I found a bunch of different threads about left side pain. Sounds like it is pretty normal. I hope it gets better for you soon! Welcome to Band Land! Try a heating pad.
  15. http://lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=12276&highlight=left+side+pain Click on this link & read. I think it has some good info & maybe your answer.
  16. I know it was one of the guys, but I can't remember which one. I think it was something like left side pain.
  17. I kind of had the same problem starting out. I really didn't lose any big amount of weight until I finally got good restriction. Hang in there! There's lots of people here to help you figure this out!
  18. Hmmmmm....... I really don't know then. I think i remember someone else posting a similiar pain recently. I'll see if I can find it for you. It may take me a while.
  19. If it were me & I had even the slightest thought that my fill was too tight, I would get a unfill. It doesn't have to be a huge amount. Sometimes just the tiniest amount taken out makes all the difference in the world. & congrats on the weight loss! 45 lbs.!
  20. Is it your port? That's what I would guess. Some surgeons put them on the left & some on the right.
  21. I DID IT!!!!! Pat it wouldn't let me use the avatar you made me so I played around & I did it! Finally! Thanks for trying though!
  22. Thank You! My other one was blurry too so that is just fine!
  23. That's okay! Thanks for trying!
  24. Congrats! I know you are excited! I'm excited for you!
