Just wait it out?? What to do??

Ok when I first got my fill in November I was too tight. But my fill dr. is in a different state and I didn't have the money to fly back so I waited it out.

So for the past month and half I've been fine... the occasional PB but mostly when I'm not paying attention and eat too fast.

But the last three days i've been super duper tight. I've PB'd the last three days. not every meal but at least once a day. Tonight I PB'd water... granted I drank it too fast but still.... I think I'm getting ready to start my period.

So is it just being flakey and should I wait it out again?? It could be because of my period.... but I don't want to hurt my band.

what would you do??

If it were me & I had even the slightest thought that my fill was too tight, I would get a unfill. It doesn't have to be a huge amount. Sometimes just the tiniest amount taken out makes all the difference in the world. & congrats on the weight loss! 45 lbs.!

Please speak to your doctor, but I would wait until my period went off. I tend to be tight around that time but then I lossen right up after a few days. Also try some warm tea prior to eating anything, it really helps.

Good luck!

That time of month causes me to tighten up also. The hot tea really does help. If you've been fine for 6 weeks this is probably tighter restriction from PBing or from the hormonal changes. Give your band a rest with a day of liquids. I also suggest calling your doctor. It is very reassuring to have your doctor tell you that you will be fine, or that you actually do need an unfill.

The first thing you should be doing is going on liquids for a about 3 days. If you are on liquids only then you definately need to call your doctor right away.
