I could be an airplane....
I have them too. & mine have also gotten worse since the challenge. Seems like I found some exercises to combat flabby arms on the prevention.com website. Maybe it's the fast weight loss? I dunno, but it sucks!

Just discovered pressure cookers!
Beans 2 cups of pinto or great northern beans that you have looked over to take out all the rocks & bad beans 1 small piece of smoked hog jowl or a piece of bacon salt & pepper to taste sugar to taste if desired (for Lonnie - he loves his pintos sweet) Rinse the beans & place in pressure cooker with enough Water to cover beans & fill pot about half full. Cook on high until the pressure cooker jiggles, then turn down to a medium high setting (7 on electric ranges). Let the pressure cooker jiggle for about 30 minutes, turn off & let cool. Stir beans & keep repeating the process until the beans are done. If you don't keep starting, stopping & stirring the beans when using a pressure cooker, the beans on the top will still be hard. This is the way my Grandma taught me to cook them. You can also use all the same ingredients & use a crock pot. Just cook all day or overnight. Grandma taught me a trick with the pressure cooker when cooking beans. After the pressure cooker jiggles for 30 minutes, take it off the burner & with the jiggler still on & the top still firmly on, run cold water over the top until you hear no more steam escaping. What I do then, is to take the jiggler off the top & if no hissing is heard, it's safe to take the top off & stir. Pressure cookers are dangerous, but they have been greatly improved since my Grandma's day. Just be careful!!

Just discovered pressure cookers!
HMMMMM......... I have a pressure cooker, but I never thought about cooking the way you are talking about. I may have to look into this! I usually cook beans or potroast in mine. They are super quick & clean-up is easy too!! Thanks! If I come across any recipes I'll let you know. My potroast is just a roast with new potatoe, carrots, onions, cabbage & a package of onion soup mix covered about half way with water & cooked for about 30-45 mins.

Stainless Steel Sink advice needed......
OOh! I bought a plug in thingy from bath & body works the other day & bought the black berry refills for it, & that thing is awesome! I'm going tomorrow & buy 3 more to replace the little fan thingys that I have been using. They're a little pricey, but so worth it! My bedroom smells so yummy! I never could get it to smell good because of DH & his smellies. Plus the 2 dogs didn't help. I am loving all of the tips given here! & just in time for spring cleaning too!

Stainless Steel Sink advice needed......
There is a stainless steel cleaner you can buy, but I can't remember the name of it. It is in a powder form like comet. I use to get it at Wal-Mart. We have really hard water (lots of iron). Everything is orange. I just don't bother with it anymore, but it does work. It used to make mine look new again.

Boot Camp Lbt Style
Truely, I think I owe my sudden weight loss to finally getting good restriction. I have quit eating snacks. But, I think the one thing that has helped me the most is not eating after 7 pm. I am tracking my intake on fitday.com. If I see that I have not gotten all of my protein in, I will drink either a premixed carnation instant breakfat shake or a boost high protein premixed shake. They don't taste fabulous or anything, but they are a quick way to get protein, vitamins & minerals! As far as exercise, Until today, my back has hurt too bad to actually exercise. Even walking has been excruciating. Now don't laugh! I prayed extra hard last night for my back to get better so I could begin to exercise. I need to exercise! I'm getting flabby. Well, I woke up this morning & I was pain-free. So today, I'm going to get on the good old treadmill & if I do okay with that, I'm going to get my resistance bands out that I just bought & try to do some toning. If that goes okay, I'm going to try some Richard Simmons aerobics. I so hope I can do this today!!! Well, those are my secrets. It's nothing new, but it's working for me! Good luck everyone!!!

Weird feelings in my throat......
Thanks everyone! It is completely gone today! YAY!! I really thought a lot about my eating habits during all of this. I came to the conclusion that I was trying to eat around my band. You know, get the full feeling & then wait til it's gone & eat some more even though I'm not hungry. I have since stopped this bad habit & I am eating like a bandster with tight restriction should. I'm losing weight regularly & the pain is gone. Don't get me wrong, I am tight, but I can still eat solid food. Just not very much at all. I am making sure to get all of my protein in. I am also making a conscious effort to get enough fluids in. I think it has been really hard for me to except the fact that I can survive on such a small amount of food & remain healthy. I'll admit it, I was a binger. I was a closet binger. It has taken me a year to come to terms with this. But at least it's happening.
