  12. Ok so, I started my supervised diet around the time that you were sleeved. I have watched your journey through your pictures and I must say that you are truly an inspiration! I love the fact that you are honest about your eating. Your lifestyle seems to be much more realistic than others. Thank you for being so open and including us on your journey. Keep up the GREAT work:)
  13. Thanks!! I've been looking for more ways to use them:)
  14. Does anyone use these? They seem perfect for tortilla substitutes. Pinterest has a few recipes using them, I just wanted to get some opinions!
  15. Good ideas! Thanks:)
  16. My Dr. said while your incisions are healing they need to be kept dry and free from the irritation of clothes rubbing against them to prevent re-opening and infection. I'm not happy about giving up my Spanx, but I understand the reasoning.
  17. There are different types of Spanx. I mainly wear the spandex type (which can be very difficult to pull up) but they also have nylon, those are more like control top panty hose.
  18. I swear by my spanx, but my surgeon said no compression garments until incisions are completely healed. Was anyone else told the same?
  19. After reading these posts, I can see that my story was unique. My last nutritionist visit was 7/13, all paperwork was faxed off on 7/16. My dr's office was so confident of the approval, I started my pre-op diet that day and was scheduled for surgery the following week. I called UHC to verify the receipt of my info. I was approved 7/22 and sleeved on 7/23. I'm one week out and adjusting to the "sleeved life"!!
  20. In a super busy wife, mother of four, student and teacher. I don't know what I'd do with the alarm click in my phone. I'm having trouble getting on a good schedule for my vitamins. Can somebody share what works for you??
  21. This is my first post, but I've been "snooping" for quite sometime. Today is my big day and I'm so excited that I can't sleep! I will celebrate today 7/23/13 as my birthday as it marks the birth of a new me. Prayers and positive thoughts would be appreciated:)
