  1. Goud luck Gina Marie! Ill be looking forward for post to come.
  2. Congratulations March sleeves!!! And good luck to those with upcoming surgery!!
  3. That's a bummer! I sure hope you don't have to do that diet again either. I wish you the best getting you psych eval and date. My date is April 1st. I'm getting nervous and excited.
  4. I'm not sure why either. When's your surgery date?
  5. I'm praying you are doing well.
  6. You are in my thoughts and prayers!!
  7. I was told the basic reason was to shrink your liver so it's less fatty and easy to move during surgery. The liver lays on top of the stomach. Its easy to crack if its too fatty. It also helps with lowering your BMI. My surgery is April 1st. I've been on my low carb diet for a month. It's tough nut once you get use to it, it's a breeze. Good luck!!
  8. Yay JMS!! I'm so glad to hear from you and so glad you are doing well!! Enjoy the ice and your journey to skinnyville. Continue to keep us posted.
  9. JLB15-- I'm glad you are doing well after three days. I just bought protein powder for my water when I'm in the hospital. You may want to try finding some and adding it to your water. I wish you continued healing!
  10. Thank you Sweetcurves3!! Im glad to hear you had no troubles. It really freaked me out to hear her talking. All I could envision was me spitting all day...lol! I hope I am able to keep liquids down just as well. Thank you for sharing. I greatly appreciate it.
  11. Sending prayers of healing and positive thoughts your way!
  12. My surgery is April 1. I attended my support group meeting last night and we discussed swelling after surgery. Several people had trouble swallowing their own saliva and water. Has anyone else had this trouble?
  13. That is the best birthday gift.
  14. I have to stay in it until my surgery. Yep, I'm going nuts. My surgeon wants me to be below 50 BMI because of anesthesia complication so I have 8 lbs to go. But I was told the more I lose the better. Preparing for this surgery has me do nervous. I hate complications. Unfortunately I don't have a large support system. My parents, even for me being married and 42, don't think I need to risk my life. Their lack of support really doesn't help me. It hurts. So yeah, I'm going nuts.
  15. Alright! Day after mine. Are you getting overly excited too? My pre-op diet has been getting to me horrible, but I'm pushing on through. I wish you the best with your surgery.
  16. I think this all stems from me not being hungry in the mornings. I dream I'm eating food and wake up full.
  17. Thank you both. I'm trying them both. I really appreciate it. I've felt my sanity slipping away. Again thanks!
