Sounds great!!!! Congrats on the great weight loss. I have my surgery on the 11th @ Menorah in Overland Park . I have some doubts, would you do it over again?

So happy for you! I am scheduled with Dr Malley at New Hope Surgical Center in Overland Park. Did you loose weight before surgery? If so how much if you don't mind sharing.

Glad to meet you Brandy, I was called today to schedule my surgery but found out that the doctor only does surgeries every other week and I work 7 days on then 7 days off & guess what those are all my work weeks. Very frustrated now! Not sure what to do really don't want to have to miss work.. I have no sick days, Very upsetting !!! So glad for you though!!! Let me know when you get scheduled. Yahoo!!! Found out insurance has been approved, will find out Monday when surgery is. Only took a week for approval

I guess I cheated a little, I have been waiting for my insurance approval and grew impatient. I called the insurance and this very nice girl told me everything was there and it was on the desk of who needed to finalize it. Yahoo! I think! Lol! She also told me that the doctor was putting me on a liquid diet also, something my doctor wouldn't tell me without insurance approval. So I figured start it now and get ahead of the game.!! Lol!!! What is the worst that can happen, I lose weight and am ready when they approve, besides the starving part I guess! Lol!!! Hang in there all we are ALL in the together!! Good Luck!

So glad to hear that there are so many of you that are over 50 that have been sleeved and doing well. I wish you all great success & I hope I can get some great tips from you all. In fact am thinking of starting my liquid diet today myself. I am waiting for insurance approval....seems like forever ! Lol!!! Not sure if my doctor will put me on one but see all the great weight loss for some of you on it thought I might as well try. I feel in limbo and that I should be doing something. What are you allowed on a liquid diet? Seems pretty self explanatory but can you have dairy? Broth? Juice? Can someone clarify for me please

Wow so good to hear I'm not the only one feeling this way. Nothing fits and all I want to do is eat but never full, not gaining weight but miserable. My surgery can't come soon enough! Good luck all

So sorry to hear that that person was so jealous of you, I believe that that was all that was about. Congratulations for all your amazing weight lose. You are an inspiration to so many! I hope I can someday say I have lost 90 lbs! What a triumph, you should be sooo proud of yourself!

I'm new to this but from all I've read I think you will be fine, lots of doctor's are different on the Pre diets

Really afraid at what people will say at work so choosing to not tell anyone there. They are all so negative about everything. Sad really to think that what they say can affect me but trying to work through that. And it is usually always the women, and I know it is jealousy plain and simple! If they knew my weight loss was from an operation I can't even imagine what it would be like, has been bad enough when I was loosing weight on my own. Just saying!!!
