  1. Love this thread, I could so relate to almost all! Crossing legs, running into ex-husband, Amusement rides is a biggie, shopping at normal stores, smaller boobs, or at least losing all my side boob!
  2. April 26th currently day 5 of liquid diet
  3. So I started my liquid diet on Tuesday and have already lost 7lbs, makes it that much easier watching the weight drop...I can't wait to be on the other side and see it too! Definitely helps to continue to not cheat!
  4. I am on day 3, my program supplies New Direction meal replacement which I found very good, I mix with h2o, they have Choco straw vanilla pudding and soups, I haven't felt hungry at all! My suggestion is keep drinking thru the day in between! I haven't had any stomach rumbling, I realize how much head hunger used to have ! I too have 3wks!
  5. Well so far I have had NO grumbling tummy which is amazing to me ! I have no realized how much "head hunger" I have had all my life! I have a 3wk (by choice, 2 is required) liquid to do pre-op. my program supplies 3 meal replacements a day and I am allowed fat free broth, SF jello, SF Popsicles and if need be FF jello pudding . I have found my constantly having fluid at my side I have kept the full feeling and have kept up my fluid intake to 100oz plus! The downside....peeing all the time lol! I was down 2lbs in 2 days already ! So for all those dreading it, you never know how you will feel until you do it! I have been thrilled so far to see how strong I have been so far especially knowing this will help my success on the "other side"!
  6. So today is first day .. Any advice or words of wisdom? My drs give three meal replacement shakes and sugar free jello, pudding,Popsicles and broth only till my April 26th date
  7. I started my journey jan8th met the surgeon feb6th and have my surgery for April 26th, I would say it depends on surgeons schedule and what they require for pre surgery testing and diets
  8. I've already been told that I will be going home on lovenox because of my past clot.
  9. Have it checked! I had one last year in my leg post-op, I just had a pain that felt like the next day after having a charley horse in my calf, and it was positive, and I'm in the medical field! Better safe than sorry!
