  1. Ok so im 2 1/2 months post op and have lost a decent amount of weight. Being a ticker woman ive never had a problem with my husband "hurting" me when we intimate lol but ive noticed that as ive been losing weight its actually become alittle more uncomfortable. Has anyone else experienced this??
  2. I did she doesnt really answer my questions she just goes to something else.
  3. I work out pretty much 5 days a week and weight train 2-3 times but im not lossing weight as fast as i would like, im actually losing very slowly if at all....so my nut. up'd my calories from 600 to 900 to see if that would help. So my questions is do i still need to take in 900 a day if i dont workout? sat and sun are usually family days and i dont want to take in that many but i dont want to keep jumping back and forth and really screw with my body.
  4. Lol i no the fast food places can be hard but once you get to the solids part of all this and you are able to eat good things and feel lighter and healthier youll be DISGUSTED by fast food. Thats just me though. Time really does fly by after the first week. Your doing great and keep it up!!! Im 2 months out and have lost close to 40 pounds!! Good luck and congrats
  5. I agree with all of the above. I think if your as good friends you say you are i think it would be really f** up to blow a "sister" off like that. No one said you had to go to the reception and "torture" yourself with food and dancing, but why not atleast go to the ceremony!! i mean seriously youll be sitting down the hole time just take a bottle of water. Im sorry i would do anything for my friends and at 2 weeks youll be fine and feeling NORMAL so if you cant even make the attempt to go to the ceremony and show support and love than you dont deserve a friend like her im sorry thats so blunt but its true your just looking for an EXCUSE and thats just sad and wrong
  6. have you tried up'ing your protein to get those calories in?
  7. have you tried up'ing your protein to get those calories in?
  8. not really. i mean honesty i had my surgery before xmas and theres alot of food that goes around etc and i didnt have any problems because you really dont want it. and your moving around fine. But its all preference if you dont feel ready than dont go i mean yall have been friends for so long that i think if you where to tell her and only her she would be understanding. No one knows about my surg but my mom hubby and very close gf and she was very supprotive.
  9. Wow hmm thats a tough one...you can tell them your getting your gull bladder taken out....its in the same area and same procedure and same heal time
  10. You can always call the nurse on the team if your doctor is a male and discus it with her to,
  11. lol its natural to feel that way, dont be embarrassed. I haven't noticed any changes down there, but Ive had 2 kids so i might not be the best person to give that type of advice haha but before and after surgery i have not noticed any difference and neither has my husband sorry tmi. I think if someone can have kids and it shrink back to "normal" im sure that with weight loss over time it will be ok.
  12. The dresses i like they are pretty much all corset style and strapless. I kinda no where i will be but its still really hard to tell thank yall

I dont want to wait to the last min to get a dress because ill be cutting out ALOT of what ill be able to get. Thanks for any advice in advance
  15. Depends what type of insurance you have but usually 2ish weeks. You can call your insurance and keep asking for updates. I did lol they dont no me i didnt care if i bugged them haha i mean its there job right? good luck
  16. They have the 100 calorie greek yogurt its what i eat and its low in sugar and have a decent amount of protein. nom nom nooom lol
  17. Try the greek yogurt less cals and sugar and more protein than yoplait. Plain meaning there is no flavor they say this because the pieces of fruit can be harder to digest thats why they suggest plain. But as long as your looking at the label and getting something very low in sugar and calories than you should be fine.
  18. ahhhhh lol sorry about that yes theres a portsmouth in va and i thought your nh was north hampton hahaha sorry good luck
  19. Maybe because the weight is not weighing down your bones? and they cant stretch out?? haha sounds logical to me lol

  22. WHOOHOO congrats!! thats so exciting! Ive lost 45 pounds in 5 weeks but ive been stalled for 3 weeks now but i can tell im losing inches.
  23. Hello, first off congrats on taking the steps to changing your life. I had the sleeve done 2 months ago and i was up walking around 4 hours after surgery and ive lost 45 pounds in 5 weeks. The process is very simple. You would be admitted they would drug you up you go to sleep they will make 6 incisions and go in laprosopicaly divide your stomach and new pouch than staple the new pouch closed and bam your on your way to a new skinny and healthy life. It took me about a week to fully be able to function without alot of discomfort but you get plenty of good meds. I had surgery on dec 4th at 270 pounds I am now 2 months out and 45 pounds down. Good luck
