  1. Vita-mix is so ugly but, I LOVE IT!
  2. Thanks everyone! I have gone through the insurance thing with Dr. Atkinson, I thought I wanted the lap band. He was great in answering all my questions! However, I changed my mind & decided I wanted the sleeve....Unfortunately, my insurance does not cover the sleeve. He charges $16,700 for cash patients. I meet Dr. Umbach wednesday. He charges $10,400 for cash patients. Both centers are Center of Excellence. My stomach hurts...so many decisions!
  3. Laura- well your brows look great!
  4. Sorry to be the party pooper but, really WTH is sliming & dumping all about? I seriously thought lap band had sliming and RNY had the dumping?!
  5. You made me tear up! I started one for my daughter as well but, I get so emotional. Thanks for sharing, Kristina!

  9. Thanks everyone for sharing! I haven't had one in 15yrs but the thought.....UGH, it's a little frightening! I won't know how I will feel after surgery...it's the fear of the unknown that I'm worried about. Honestly THIS wasn't an issue until I saw that damn vlog! Maybe I need to take a little break from the internet?
  10. Sorry Yazzy! I had anxiety about 16yrs ago, on meds & it was pure hell! Never really had it since then & haven't taken any meds for about 15yrs. I just don't want to worry about this, this process is so stressful enough!
  11. Thank you so much guys! I've been searching & lurking for a year now & that was the very 1st time I've heard of it too!?
  12. I just saw a vlog on Youtube & the person said that anxiety & panic attacks are a common side effect with WLS?! Please tell me this isn't so! I'm getting worked up again, sorry.

  18. I had mine over a year ago & it was basically the same as Momonanomo. I was extremely nervous! It truly was a nice & enlightening conversation (minus the I want to hurt myself or others topic), I knew after the evaluation that I was making the right decision! You'll be fine, just breathe.
  19. Oh, I fricken' ZOOMED too!
