  1. Ah....Patron...how I miss thee...especially a shot of it floating so beautifully and sweetly on top of a perfectly frozen Mararita! Sigh..... OK, I'm ready for judgement day!
  2. It is not supposed to be like Medicare. You will be purchasing from major healthcare providers, Atena, UHC and the likes. You are supposed to be able to buy whatever level you want to pay for, be it catastrophic or full coverage, it's up to you. The president will be participating in it for healthcare for his family. Congressional aids are participating. Funny though, Congress excluded themselves from it. They will still have their private insurance that they currently have. Hmmmmm.....no judgement there! I agree Joe, it is going to be a trainwreck. Man, I hope it's covered!
  3. Can I take that grain of salt with a shot of tequila? :P
  4. No state will be excluded from the AHCA, some states have chosen to not do their own administration of it. For those states, you will be able to use the NHCE (National Health Care Exchange) Open enrollment begins Oct. 1 for coverage to begin Jan 1, 1014. It will depend on the type of coverage you purchase. I believe you will purchase, if you qualify or don't have it though your employer. I could be wrong but that is how I interpreted it. Some of the cost, which could be covered by subsidy. Hope it helps. You would need to ask specific questions on coverage when/if you use the exchange.
  5. Lol! I know I'm on my way to the "time out" chair! Just couldn't resist! :P
  6. Is that the "fixable" kind?
  7. Will look into those, I had not heard of them! Thanks for the tip. Are they smaller the the citracal petites?
  8. If I have to tell you, you'll never get it anyway! Oh, sorry, that line is reserved for my hubbby!
  9. Everything's better with Feta!
  10. Huh? What? Who's on first??? Did you go and done it now??
  11. I was cleared to eat all fruits and veggies at 6 weeks but canned without sugar peaches and pears from 3.
  12. You can take a girl out of Ohio, but you can't take Ohio out of the girl!
  13. Not without a metal umbrella while wearing golf shoes.
  14. Cooking with it is perfectly fine. Having a glass of wine WHILE you are cooking with it, even better! :D Provided you are cleared my your Dr. for it. Don't want to tell anyone it's ok, if it's not. Every Dr. has their opinion about it. Mine says it's fine after 6 weeks. BTW: Watcha cookin?
  15. Good luck tomorrow! You will do great! You will be fine afterwards, your full time job will be sipping and walking. Like the posters above said, you won't be thinking about food. You will be amazed at what changes are in store for you. For the great! I am 3 months out and know with every Fiber of my being, this was the best thing I have ever done for my health! Only regret is wish I would have done it sooner. Check in when you can after you are on the loser's bench.
  16. We always have ours on for the Packer games. Hubby's Father's day gift every year is the Direct TV NFL package so we can watch all the Packer games!

  20. I wanna march in that parade! Yay everyone!
  21. Hang in there, it will get better. I'm a little jealous, I was on Clear Liquids for the first week and only full liquids for an additional two! Don't eat more than your surgeon or NUT says. This is very important right now as you won't be able to feel the restriction and you could damage your stomach. Keep sipping, it's a full time job for the first few weeks, but it does get easier in time. Good luck!
