    tmi..

I feel your pain. I take 2 Colace pills a day (generic) I also take Miralax every day. My Dr. said they give it baby's and I could take it every day if I wanted and it would be safe. I'm taking it! I drink it in my hot tea or water.
  2. I think there is a name for that, when you can feel everything while under. That is not good! Talk to your Dr. so they know. Like they said above, its over. Enjoy losing weight now!!!!
  3. I did it as well. Try not to do it a lot. My thing was a dill pickle spears. I scraped the seeds completely off as I didn't want that issue. And chewed and spit over the sink. Chew little bites and chewed a lot. Its probably not a good thing but I did it! Sugar Free popsickles saved me. Drink your water! I'm 7 weeks out. Good Luck.

    trouble

I am unsure how far post op you are out.... ? Follow your manual or Dr's or ders. All of them are different. My Dr. said no caffeine. Only Decaff. You must get your water and protein. It gets easier to drink and eat. I am trying to keep from losing a lot of hair.
  5. Congrats! I'm about 5 weeks out and had a great experience too! Walk, walk!

4 weeks out and I'm sleeping on my sides. Awesome!
  7. Coffee? I can't have coffee yet. Only decaff and couldn't drink much of it. Going to try it again though.
  8. Hi, well I'm not far ahead of you, but I have read if its uncomfortable then go back to your liquids or yogurts/protein shakes. Try again in a few days. Good Luck.

    Reflux & the Sleeve

I have been on Nexium for reflux for about 15-20 years, so long that I forget. That is scary! I believe I have had about 13 Endoscopy's for the reflux. My reflux started in my 30's, I wasn't that over weight, just a high acid content in my stomach. I researched and researched: gastric sleeve vs. Bypass. I really wasn't to excited about a Gastric Bypass but everything pointed to it because of Reflux. I discussed it with my Dr. and she still thought the Sleeve was the way to go. I am still on the Nexium but hope to get off of it in 6 mths. I am only out 3 weeks today and down 25lbs. I have been one of the lucky ones so far. No issues. I had a very large hiatal hernia so that was fixed. I hope that will help with the reflux. My Dr. also said, they can do the Bypass after a sleeve if the Reflux is unbearable. I hope that wont be needed. Good luck.

    Am I dreaming?

Me too! I worried and worried pre-op! My surgery went super, I even had a larger Hiatal Hernia then they thought. I walked and walked the first night after surgery. No pain pump the next day. No pain meds, nausea, or issues. Feeling blessed. I'm glad your all doing well!

    Hiatal Hernia

Hi. I don't know about hard/soft masses? I had my Sleeve almost 3 weeks ago. We knew I had a small Hiatal Hernia going in. Well, the Dr. said, it was really big. They just sew it shut. I know its going to make me feel better. I have had no complications. Again, unsure if we are talking the same issue/Mass? Good luck too you!
  13. Hello. I had a sleeve 10 days ago and my surgeon also fixed a large Hiatal Hernia, I am having some of the same symptoms, I was wondering what this was about, Thanks! I go to the Dr. Tuesday so I will happy to hear what she says about this. I don't have chest/jaw pain. sometimes the arm alittle. Mine is more about the golf ball issue and shortness of breathe. Weird. The Jaw pain is normal? I find that kind of strange? Good luck
