Hey, I'm getting sleeved with Dr. Garcia on the 18th, too. I just started my pre-op today. I'm sure we'll see each other there. A friend of mine, who doesn't post here, will also be sleeved on that day. Nice to meet you; my name's Tim.

To the OP, thanks for sharing. Two weeks from today, Dr Garcia will be sleeving me. I'm still completely confident in my decision, but I do appreciate hearing the details of everyone's experiences. it helps me to be better prepared

I'm starting my two-week pre-op tomorrow. Hopefully I can stick with it and lose 10-15 lbs along the way.

You should check it out sometime. It's one of my favorite childhood movies.

My surgery is two weeks from tomorrow with Dr. Garcia. Yesterday I also came down with a terrible cold. Fever, chills, headache, chest congestion. I'm hoping it clears up.

For Dr. Garcia's pre op diet, can I mix the protein shakes with skim milk or almond milk?

My surgery is March 18th. Not looking forward to the pre op diet So ready for a change, though.

I can't answer for everyone, but for me the reason I'm going to Mexico is because my insurance would not cover the procedure in the US, so I have to self pay. $5000 in Mexico vs $20000 in the US is the main reason. Having said that, after looking into Mexico, I'm very excited about the surgeon who will be performing my procedure. I'm more comfortable with him than I was with the surgeon I was seeing in the US.

Hi everyone. I live in Mcalester. I met with Dr. Kirk at Bailey back in the fall. Then before Christmas, my insurance turned me down. But, my mind was made up by that point that I wanted the surgery. Since I'm now self-pay, I've decided to go to Mexico. I'll be having my surgery in three weeks with Dr. Garcia.

March 18th Mi doctor hospital Dr Fernando Garcia (I also have a friend, Brenda, who will be sleeved the same day by Dr Garcia. She is not on vst.)

Seems like a good deal, so I just bought some too. But, even with my Prime membership, the estimated delievery date isn't until March 15th. That's just a couple days before my surgery.

I also chose Dr. Garcia because if the great things I read on this message board. I'll be sleeved in mid-March. It's nice to talk to some of you and read so many peoples stories. It's comforting...like a little family.

My surgery is on March 18th. I wanted to fly out of Tulsa, but it was too expensive. Instead I'm flying out of Dallas. I got round-trip tickets for $380. I bought them about two weeks ago

Class of 96 here! I'm getting sleeved exactly one month from today A little nervous, buy more excited than anything. I how to be normal sized by my 20 year reunion....and who knows? Maybe even have a date/relationship by then. This weekend I was looking through some old CDs. I ended up listening to the Singles soundtrack and another old favorite of mine called No Alternative. Miss the 90s.
