  1. I'm already on the extended release mitsysj.
  2. I wanted to know if anyone else on metformin 1000mg x 2 and micardis 40mg x 1 a day gets sick in the morning? The only way I can describe it as is its like food poisoning. It starts about an hr after I've eaten and an hr after taking meds. I know it's the meds because I've tried eliminating them one by one! If you have had this what did you do?
  3. Please let me know if you are an early may sleever and tell me how you are traveling!
  4. I was sleeved may 7 and mine took about 2 weeks to go away.
  5. I'm so happy. After no movement in nearly 3 weeks I finally lost a kg. wahoo!
  6. I use beneprotein which you can order online
  7. I totally understand but after the fact she was denied insurance for this surgery my thoughts are still otherwise.
  8. I'm a may 7 too in Australia. How is everyone going thus far?
  9. I was sleeve may 7 and have lost 8kg too. You're not the only one. I actually posted a thread because I was concerned too but after 20+ responses we are not alone:) As I mention in my thread; on this this forum, people usually post amazing weight loss stories or really bad stories but what about us in-betweeners?!?!
  10. I have a friend exactly like it too. I can confirm she is jealous though because she has always been infatuated with hers and everyone else's weight but never did anything about it. When I initially told her about the surgery I was going to have she was like "why would you do that?" I just told her it was my choice and she should respect my choices. Well...since my surgery (may 7) I've heard from her once. She was my best friend but I guess since she hasn't even bothered to see if I'm still alive then she really isn't on that pedestal that I had her on which is really disappointing after 17 years of friendship. She did the same to one of our other friends who lost a significant amount of weight and constantly puts her down. I just don't like it and won't stand for it! If you have a good friend they'll be there through thick and thin and share your good times and bad with you.
  11. I'm really scared. My hair is sooooo fine and thin. I already have trouble with it. I'm nearly 5 weeks post op and I've noticed my hair has become really dry too. None has fallen out yet but I'm scared that's the next phase and that will mean bald spots . Can you get the Biotin in Australia?
  12. I'm so happy I posted this thread as now I can actually see I'm not the only one!
  13. I thought I'd put it out there to see of anyone has had this happen as I've really only seen it happen to others at weeks 5 or 6 and then later on. I'm 4 and a half weeks post op and I've lost 8kg (17lb) which I'm thrilled with but I haven't lost any weight since 2 weeks post op. Is this normal?
