  1. Oh god please don't tell me that it could last forever!
  2. That's great news. Yeah I think mine is too. Thank goodness!
  3. That is fantastic news for you. You must've been so happy to hear that. That's my goal to get there too! Well done
  4. I do that too but I feel like why should I have to tell anyone really as its not their business and some people ask soo many questions!
  5. Lol! Don't get me started. And it's scary when you have to go at work too with other people around!!!!
  6. Thanks Marcy. Thankfully it's started moving again!
  7. Hahaha mistysj! I totally understand. Mine is the same. Soft then liquid then that continues!!
  8. I'm 6 weeks (May 7)out and have lost 21lbs (11kg) and I'm stoked.
  9. Thanks everyone and sorry for the misunderstanding! Was funny though! I do think it is our body adjusting though as mentioned above ^^.
  10. That wasn't a dig its what I was told!
  11. I hope so too for both our sakes! That's where I get most of my protein. If you find anything out let me know!
  12. Yeah it's weird because its only breakky. Maybe ill talk to the dietician about it. I'm 6 weeks out tomorrow and have struggled with this since soft foods. If you find anything out let me know!
  13. First of all, apologies for the terrible title but its necessary! I just wanted to know if anyone else dumped after breakky? It seems it doesn't matter what I have for Breakfast I always dump. Does anyone know why or how to fix it? It's really impacting my med intake too because I feel so ill that if I do take my tablets I more often than not vomit. Every other meal is going fine it's just in the morning. Please help!
  14. I was sleeved 7th may and I lost 15lb the first week. I'm now 6 weeks post op and have lost 22lb in total. 3 week stall at week 3 which is normal.
  15. My PMS were a lot worse. Severe back pain, sore boobs, cramps and headaches. It lasted for a few days then I got my period which was a lot heavier than usual. I also got hungrier, craved chocolate too. Just the usual but probably 5 times worse than pre op.
  16. I have drank vodka and orange with no problems at 4 weeks post op. Just stay away from the carbonated drinks. I don't recommend drinking too much though as you will get drunk quicker and dehydrated quicker. Just ensure you don't go crazy and binge!
  17. First of all you look amazing! I hope I'm as successful as you at 2 1/2 months post op!! I read an article on here about stalls and how to kick start it again. Below is just a short list of what I read: 1. Changing your exercise routine 2. Increasing Protein 3. Go back to the liquid phase for a week 4. This one is the strangest....have a day of junk food! Apparently by doing this your body is shocked and it starts again. I personally haven't tried any of the above yet so let me know how it goes for you!
  18. I am 6 weeks post op too a d I ate a scotch fillet steak for dinner with sautéed mushrooms, capsicum and onion and it was great to finally eat normally again! Yes it took a while to eat it but when it's packed with that much protein I say bring it on!
  19. I'm happy because I just got to eat a scotch fillet steak with mushrooms, capsicums and onion. I had a little battle getting it to stay down. But it did!
