  1. I was a coke zero addict and have totally lost the addiction now. Every now and again I feel like a sip of coke zero (once every two months) and so I have a sip and that's it, cravings gone! One thing that I am addicted to now though is powerade. Mmm!
  2. I love powerade zero. Blue and red!! The only problem I find is that you can't buy the zero of it in powder form like the sugar powerade. Because I drink so much of it it would be cheaper in powder form. I'm in Australia and it costs nearly $4 a bottle!
  3. Good luck with the presentation misty, and I'm glad you're feeling better. I'm so happy ATM. I have finally broken the dreadful 8 week stall. Jumped on the scales and bang 2kg gone! Thank goodness because I was starting to get worried that it was the end of my journey. I never gave up though. I am still going to the gym and eating right.
  4. That's phenomenal! Well done!
  5. Thanks for the encouragement. It's nice to know we are not alone! It does get hard swinging everyone else fly by in weight loss though. I am doing everything right but its just the stalls now. They seem to last longer than before but I am losing inches.
  6. Sleeved may 7. 37lbs down since surgery date. I am losing a lot slower than everyone here
  7. Happy surgiversary! Congratulations on your journey. You are amazing and inspiring to us all.
  8. That's the good thing about this forum. You get honesty. There's soon interesting threads on here! I'm sure you will be fine but keep asking questions so you are fully informed before you make your decision.
  9. That's no good misty. I'm still experiencing this every now and again but what I have found is my body can't handle Protein until about 3-4hrs after I wake up. This is only occurring when it's not a natural protein. What I mean by that is its not organic and could be like a sustagen powder drink or an Optifast. But when I eat an egg for example I don't get I'll or have to rush to the toilet for the next few hrs. It seems to be working for me!
  10. Hey aussiegirl. I'm definitely not ready yet either but I hope I will be!
  11. Just checked. There's no date set yet. Check out the site http://www.obstacleracers.com.au/zombieescape.htm Also checkout the American video of it. pretty funny! http://www.runforyourlives.com/
  12. I know. I live in Vic but I think I would fly up there for the race because its not held at all here. If you google it there's a video from the same event in America.
  13. Yep I had the band and lost nothing. I got the sleeve and am losing.
  14. Is anyone on the Gold Coast going to do the Run for your lives marathon? It sounds so cool. It's a 5km obstacle course while you get chased by zombies!! If you compete you can opt to be a runner or a zombie. Lol!
  15. Thanks Liisa it is. It's the small things to everyone else but a big deal to us sleevers!
  16. It is Kelliv. It was just the thing that I needed to pull me out of my stall rut!
  17. I know Liisa has posted about this before but I wanted to share my new little enjoyments! This Friday I went on a plane and sat in one seat, had plenty of room between my and the tray table. That was my first joy! Then we went to Movie world which I hadn't been to since January. Back then I was getting knocked back on rides or was squeezed Into the ride (extremely humiliating). Every ride I went on was a perfect fit, no awkward moments and I thoroughly enjoyed the day! So even though I have been in a 7 week stall I definitely have lost Inches!
  18. Thanks for this! It is different to other pouch tests that I've read. The others are about a 5 day pouch test to get back to liquids then soft food onto solids. Like post op.
  19. What's a pouch test? Can you do it yourself?
  20. That's fantastic. I exercise only 3-4 times a week but don't lose as quickly as you. Maybe I need to step it up!
  21. WOW that is an amazing loss! What's your secret?
  22. Surgery date: 7 May 2013 Hospital: dandenong valley. Starting weight: 110 Current: 96 ( put on 3kg and into my 7th week of stalling arrrggggghhhh!)
  23. That is definitely one thing I can't wait to try out and I'm sure the person next to me will be happy too now that I will only be in my seat!
