Okay so I'm now 3 days post op and I've been sleeping in a recliner but my neck and back is killing me! How long before you slept in a bed? And which sleeping positions were most comfortable? Thanks!

I was sleeved on Monday the 25th! I came out of surgery by 10am and I was walking by 3pm! I am home now and I am having a lot more gas pain! The gas just rumbles around my chest an abdomen but I don't see a BM coming anytime soon, I'm just trying to walk it out! I've read that the first 5-7 days are the hardest so I'm just trying to push through! Stay strong and focused! Just think about 2-3 months down the road!! Hope all is going well for y'all!!

My doctor requires it for all his patients just as a precautionary measure. But it's where you stand in front of a x ray machine and you drink two different drinks and they watch them travel through your body and make sure there is no leak or anything.

Day 2 post op. I am extremely sore, the box incision on my right side hurts the worst, I'm also having a lot of rumbling and bubbly feeling all through my stomach. It's loud too. It's hurting me more to walk today than it did the day of surgery is that weird?

Okay so I had surgery yesterday morning and I just got home from the hospital an hr ago, I'm having this bubbly rumbling feeling in my stomach? Is that air? Or what?

Thanks everyone! My leak test was excellent so I just started an oz of chicken broth and Water every 10-15 minutes. It's hurts a little going down but doc said that's normal. I will be going home this evening! Hope everyone is doing well! Xoxo- Jen

In my room feeling sore; went to the bathroom twice and made a lap around the hall once. Having an ice chip every 10 minutes throat is sooo dry! Other than that everything went great!! Hope the same for y'all!

Tomorrow is the big day! Surgery is at 6:30am, have to be there at 5! I live 2 hrs away so I will be getting up at 2am! Eek! The nerves are just starting to set in, but I just keep thinking about 6 months down the road!! Can't wait to start posting result pictures! You are all so inspiring! Wish me luck!

I did not have heavy bleeding! The first time you get your period after insertion it is heavy and last a little longer than normal. But that is normal for the first one! Also you will experience cramping the day that you get it and maybe the day after just because your body is adjusting. My doctor gave me a low dose of pain med. I will say that the little bleeding and cramping is well worth, not taking a pill daily, condoms, pulling out, monthly shots, Patches etc! This might be Tmi but I've had it for about 2 years and my boyfriend and I relied 100% on paragard using no prevention method and I was never a day late!

I've been on paragard and I love it! It can last for up to ten years, it's inserted once so you don't have to change it out! I chose it cause i can not remember to Take a pill everyday! It's non hormonal so there are no side affects! It works great for me, I hope you find what best fits you!
