  6. I was just telling my mom today that now I hate eating. Every time I eat it hurts cause i feel over full. I'm 3 weeks out tomorrow and tempted to go back to liquids. I'm keeping my portions under 1/4 cup and can't even finish that. So I can kinda relate to this post.

  9. Yay! Congrats!! It's crazy to me how all surgeons post op Diets are different. I'm 2.5 weeks post op and I'm not allowed puréed foods untill next week. And I've read a lot about people having to be on liquids for 2 weeks pre op but I only had to do it for the day before surgery ( and 2 weeks after surgery). This week I was able to add cream of wheat, yogurt, and creamy soups.

  16. I would have shouted it from a rooftop if given a chance!! I told everybody and Posted all my updates on Facebook. If someone has something bad to say about it then that's there business. It's none of my business what people think of me and frankly I don't care. I did this for me and not them!!!
  17. I finally broke my stall and lost another 2 pounds this week. Thanks for all your advice guys it made me feel less stressed.
  18. I have 2 small children and I am 2 weeks post op. In the past week I have had situations come up where I had to lift my 4 year old and both of there bikes and I was fine. I just make sure I'm careful and lift with my legs like jobs teach you to do.
  19. I didn't like the shots at all! They taste like cough medicine. I blend a little peanut butter, nonfat milk, ice and the chocolate protein powder and it's like a Reese's milkshake.

  23. I jumped through hoops for a couple years and finally had to change my insurance also but it finally happened for me 2 weeks ago and it was all worth it! Keep fighting for what you want and deserve!
  24. Is it weird that I am 2 weeks out and don't feel hunger? I am eating and drinking out of habit and knowing that I need to but I never feel "hungry" like before surgery. I crave the taste of different foods but I know that's in my head. I thought maybe it was normal but I've now seen 2 posts in the past couple days of people claiming they are starving on the liquid diet.
  25. I too have anxiety disorder and experienced tons of that before surgery and still 2 weeks after surgery. It's just part of my life. Before surgery I had a hard time believing it was really gonna happen. It didn't truly sink in till I woke up after. Now I have anxiety around believing I'm truly going to loose any weight. I guess being in a stall after loosing 9 pounds in the first week doesn't help with that but what had helped for me is reading people's stories on here and seeing this is all pretty normal. I wish you the best for your upcoming surgery
