Wow... Why so long??

I was sleeved 2/12. I know its early for hairloss, but at one point I was getting sunspots from the medication and once I swiched brands the spots stopped.

Hi! I have been taking levoxyl for approximately 3 years. I have never suffered hairloss from it. Maybe you can tell your doctor to swich the brand you are using??

I was sleeved 2/12. The drain is so uncomfortable. I cant wait for it to come out. My Dr. says it needs to stay in until tuesday . Yesterday I broke down and just cried.

Im 2 days post op and I want to tear it out. Hiw long did you have to leave yours in?

I could have written this post myself. To me food is a reward after a bad day or what is needed for a perfect celebration. For us emotional eaters this is a time for self examination. And while the sleeve is a HUGE tool for our weightloss, I think the biggest battle is with our minds.

I floored at this. I getting sleeved on 2/12 and i would be SCARED to put something in my sleeve that I am not supposed to. If I have anything to do with it, there will be NO leaks!

I am floored at how long the process takes in the US. I am having my surgery in the DR. Went in, spoke to my doctor and he was ready to operate with two weeks. Since then I have been the one to move the surgery date twice. To tell you the truth, I feel like Im missing out on the counseling part even though I am 100% sure of what I want. Best if luck to all!
